Morning.
Goodness me, did you ever see sporting drama like that last frame between McGill & Wilson? It was the 33rd & final frame, too, with the scores locked at 16-16. It was packed with ooh & ahh stuff, more in a single frame than during the entire Championship. Then if that was not enough, we had Ronnie having going gangsta & thrashing balls around the table willy nilly, then Mark Selby throwing a wobbly in his presser. And whilst all that was going on, Barcelona were thrashed 8-2. If you don't love sport, you are missing out on so much.
Meanwhile, back at Sky Poker, it was, in relative terms, a really good night. Big night, Friday, with an £8k BWBH, £10k Main & £4k Mini, but they all covered with ease. In fact the only big MTT on the Naughty Step was Sheriff, which dropped £400.
In other news, SPT Online was announced yesterday to much fanfare. The Social Media crew did a wicked job, there was some brill banter, & the forum "mood" was generally upbeat. When a poker forum is in a fun mood, there's nothing better, but when it gets the hump, it's all so melodramatic.
£8,000 BWBH £8,400
£10,000 Avenger Main £11,200
£4,000 Avenger Mini £5,265
£1,500 Mega £1,580
£2,500 Sheriff £2,500
£2,000 Turbo £2,070
£1,500 Quickdraw £1,850
£1,500 Mid Ex £1,840

£8,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£8,400)
I've never considered poker to be a spectator sport, it's for playing not watching, but the heads up between railtard & Mean Machine would have been an interesting spectacle, neither are exactly nitty.

In the £8,000 BWBH Mean Machine was beaten into 2nd, but it did not take long for him to remount his winning bike & he collected north of £2,000 in doing so, to add to the £1,000 he picked up earlier. MBN, WAL, YBA etc.
In one of those really weird oddities, 5th was 1jay1 & 6th was 1jaysnacks. You can never have enough jays.

On Thursday, mossthebos ran 2nd in Mega Stack, & he stepped up a gear last night to win the Mini & pick up almost £880.
In 3rd was potsnacker, who won Wednesday's Mid Ex. Well. Thursday's Mid Ex, but you get my drift.
Just 24 hours after winning the £1k BH and the Main, XgudiS was back in the frame, 4th this time.

Melty is rarely absent from the winner's enclosure for long, & he picked up Mega.
Splashies was busy. 6th in the 7 @ 7, then won the £1,000 BH at 1930, following up with a 3rd in this.
Swimmr took Saturday's Sheriff, was 3rd in Mega on Thursday & 4th in it last night. That little trio came to around £1,200, more than enough to keep him afloat for a week or two.

Exactly a week after running 2nd in Sheriff MikeyW94 put the record straight & won it.
StayOrGo was 6th but got nothing - no prize money, no bounties. Make the Final & collect zilch? That must suck.

luckme002 was Mr Quickdraw last night. He's played more scheduled MTT's on Sky Poker in 2020 than any other player if Sharky is to be believed, 7,956 at present. I make that around 35 per day. The mind boggles. He makes it pay though, & I daresay his weekly Rewards payment is handy enough too.
