Quarantining dancers in hotel for £10,000 a day, make-up artists in PPE and bare-bones crew with no entourage: How post-lockdown Strictly Come Dancing will still sparkle with social distancingStrictly Come Dancing rehearsals have started and the dancers are quarantining in The Manor (top right) in Elstree, Herts, before the official launch in late September. Celebrity contestants will be asked to 'bubble' with their dance partners for the duration of the series. The celebrity line-up is still secret but interior designer Kelly Hoppen (inset centre) has considered an offer. The series will be shorter - nine weeks instead of the normal 13 - and Bruno Tonioli (bottom right) will be dialling in from Los Angeles for the first five weeks. Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman (inset left) will keep a distance from each other and the competitors during filming.

I was thinking that 10k per day to quarantine dancers out of the licence fees, could may be better spent elsewhere?
