Good morning.

As you'll all be eager to know who the Jackpot winner was last night I'll spare you the usual pablum & just get on with it.

Worth mentioning though that MTT traffic last night was the best for many weeks, with everything doing well & the Overlay File won't be needed this morning.

    £8,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£8,800)

    duncan1979 has been knocking on the door for a week now, 4th in Turbo, 2nd & 4th in Quickdraw, but found the right key last night & took down the BWBH for just shy of £2,000. He had the unenviable task of facing railtard heads up, never a pleasant experience, but passed the test.

    £10,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£11,680)

    Yes, our first Sky Poker Jackpot winner for some time was henners10, subject of course to the usual game integrity tests which the security team carry out in such cases. He stands to collect £1,790 for the Main, £825 for the Mini, plus the £5,000 FTJ, so some £7,600. Not life-changing, admittedly, but certainly handy enough.

    He had not played an MTT here for 8 nights, polled up last night, registered for just two MTT's - Main & Mini - & won both of them. Extraordinary. He's made a few posts on the Forum back in the day, & I recall meeting him at the £1 milly Spy Poker UKPC 4 or 5 years ago, so maybe he'll pop on the Forum with his chest deservedly puffed out.

    A best ever result too for tonyp142, who celebrated by playing a whole bunch of £200 Heads Up Hypers, which are pretty rare beasts, & he just about came out on top in those too.

    Another outlier in 6th - mattprawn & it was great to see Adam, representing Team Brommers, in 10th.

    You don't need to be Colombo to have worked out who won this, so I'll spare you the usual winners waffle, but special mention to 6th placed biggirl who debuted on the Forum very recently.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,440)

    Mega went the way of goldnballz, who was 2nd in last week's Daily Forum Comp.

    2nd was scotty, just holding off another who arrived on the Forum recently, shrimpy28. Earlier, shrimpy won a £22 satellite to the £110 entry BWBH, & whilst he failed to trouble the scorers & he picked up 3 bounties & collected £112.50, so that worked out OK.

    The SAXONTOM upswing continued, he won this one on Thursday & was 4th last night.

    @goldnballz 720000 1 £208.80 + £189.21 Head Prizes 9

    What a night for tonyp142 - 2nd in the Main & now 2nd in this too. 4th was alancarr, & he & tonyp142 then duelled in the £200 Heads Up Hypers for a while.

    £1,500 Quickdraw (£1,900)

    Very tough FT here, with Sunday Major specialist Doooobs getting the nod, earning some wedge he can invest in the Online SPT next weekend. I won't wish him well in that as I have a nasty habit of bokking him, so I'll just say I hope be busts early. The reverse bok never fails.

    Not to be outdone on a night of headlines & big scores, Lord Crush, who won Quickdraw 24 hours earlier, took the Midnight Express to Crushville.

    Yet another FT for SAXONTOM in 2nd, with midnightma, 3rd in the Reload 2 nights earlier, 3rd.

    New things I learned today (part 9,762)

    Today is the 100th anniversary of the invention of the Theremin, which is a unique musical instrument you somehow.... play without touching. Magic.

    Congrats to @henners10 , that is some rungood there.

    Every so often I go through sharky and see how I am doing in each type of tournament, in order to see which ones I should and shouldn't be playing. I did this a couple of weeks ago and discovered I had played the Quickdraw 30 times, and not cashed in it a single time. I made a profit of GBP1.25 through bounties one evening, so it wasn't an entire failure :|

    Anyway, as is normally the case, I did the dumb thing and carried on playing it. Aafter 31 blanks in a row, I finished 2nd a couple of weeks ago, and last night I eventually won the **** thing. I am still the best part of a grand down on it, but guess I have got that particular monkey off my back.

    And @Tikay10 , you can read my mind, my immediate thought was I didnt have to worry about the entry to the online SPT anymore. That day I have a seven hour + drive/queue with a car full of grumps, so can't promise I'll play it, but will try and give it a good go. I will probably late reg and add 50 quid to the quickdraw prizepool for old times' sake.

    I'll probably just skip the false modesty then and declare "I am the chosen one". Will that do Tikay? ps where's my 5 large? ;)

    @henners10

    Comfortably nestling in Sky Poker's bank account at present, I would expect it to wing it's way to you tomorrow (Tuesday).

    PS - very well done.
