A very good Sunday morning to you.
After the superb numbers on Friday I was hoping for a repeat last night. Main & Mini both did very well, Sheriff & Turbo missed by trifling amounts, but Quickdraw disgraced itself, falling a whopping 10 runners short of the 30 entries needed. Weird how the numbers move around so dramatically night to night.
£1,000 BH £1,080

In something of a surprise - a pleasant surprise - Tweaks7 took this, surely one of his best ever scores.
In 3rd was £1k BH specialist Bleurgh, who has won this at least 3 times in the last month or two, with The Hippo in 6th.

I know very little about the winner except that his alias is impossible to pronounce & almost as difficult to type.
Really pleased to see peter27, who some of you may have met at SPT Nottingham last year, run 2nd here. Here's a guy who is desperate to improve his game, never hesitates to ask for help & listens to the advice he gets. He's a stubborn but determined so & so but it's great to see him getting better as the months go by. He'll be fine. He'll be busy watching & tweeting about the Belgian F1 GP today, he's seriously clued up on that, in fact I think he used to work for Force India or some similar team. Well done last night Peter.

SPT Online Semi (17 entries)
This was the smallest field this has had so far, 17 is a bit painful for Sky Poker, but maybe it's overlay well spent as they are all good lads, though the 4th is maybe a little out of his depth in a £200 SPT Online. Groggs won his zillionth seat, & there was comment a few days ago that "regs" playing these for cash is not necessarily a good thing. Fact is, without the liquidity these guys bring, it would be harder for the recreationals, as there would only be 2 or 3 seats guaranteed. It's all a matter of balance.
Delighted to see buzka, who rarely misses the Daily Forum Comp, win his seat.

That's the end of the line for today, & here's the best super group ever - sadly minus Roy Orbison who had just died - with End Of The Line.
There were 5 of them, of whom 3 - Roy Orbison, George Harrison & Tom Petty - have all since passed away, leaving just the unlikely couple of Jeff Lynne & Bob Dylan.

It was Williams, by the way.
Ahh yes, Williams.
I see they were sold last week, which I assume might help them? Sad to see their demise in recent years.
