Morning.
A mixed day on the Forum yesterday, beginning with the sad news that Lords NOSTRI & waller have retired gracefully from running MML. They did such a wonderful job & enhanced the enjoyment of low stakes MTT's for so many players. Bravo.
The "Coaching" debate continued, but took a most unexpected turn. As Alice said in Alice in Wonderland, "Curiouser and curiouser". Perhaps even better....
“Mad Hatter: “Why is a raven like a writing-desk?”
“Have you guessed the riddle yet?” the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.
“No, I give it up,” Alice replied: “What’s the answer?”
“I haven’t the slightest idea,” said the Hatter”
I don't even know if I'm the Mad Hatter or Alice.
Meanwhile, in saner territory, numbers were surprisingly decent last night, all things considered.

It's quite interesting (to me...) how players form comes & goes in streaks. It certainly applies to splashies, who has been in spiffing form of late. He had a share of the Final Table Jackpot last week, plus a bunch of other cashes, including 6th in the £1k BH which he won last night.
In 5th was Formosina, who ran 3rd in the Sunday Major 2 nights earlier for some £1,260.
It was almost a 4 day hat-trick for grinddd, who won Saturday's Turbo & Monday's Sheriff.
heddoh of course cashes in everything, or it seems that way. Bona fide beast.

More evidence of streaks. We had not heard from Roopdog since mid-June until he was runner-up in last weekend's Sunday Major for £2,430, and now here he is 2 days later winning Gold Rush Main. The Sunday Major & Gold Rush Main were the only MTT's he played those 2 nights, and he never showed on Monday, so that's some ridiculous ROI for Roop bloke.@Roopdog 2410000 1 £976.05 + £429.41 Head Prizes 11

Jscorgie is another streak specialist. He had a hot streak mid August, then returned to form on Sunday when he won a tenner BH, following up with 2nd in the 5pm £20 BH yesterday before going on to take the Mini.

We have so many "Don" aliases here that I no longer know which is who, so to speak. I do know that this one amused me on the coaching thread a few days ago with "You think one guy coaching a few people will ruin the game? Give over soft lad!." I should not have chuckled, but I did. My my, the coaching debate has certainly livened the place up.3rd was chrisdonk who had a busy day, starting with a win in Midnight Express, then winning a fiver BH that began at 6.30pm, before running 3rd in this. He also won the Sunday Major 2 days earlier - or was that miniman?
Now then, we had a Forum debutant yesterday, which means they qualify for Results Thread mentions, so welcome aboard Jeni82. Only been here since the end of 2018, has been solidly profitable for all except the first month or two. However, the graph has gone near vertical in the last month. No monster cashes, just solid, consistent scores, including Final Tables in Mini & Reload. One to keep an eye on, & we will award a Timeform P.

Well now, how about this, victory going to Stoke's finest, (which counts as damned with faint praise) MAXALLY. I don't need a lecture on the wonders of variance, but this was a real tough FT with the likes of GFKI, scotty, heddoh & gaming123 all toiling in his wake so this was a quite splendid result.
