A break from the EFL Cup today before we head to the Premier League for the weekend.

QPR won their only game so far against Nottingham Forest, whilst Coventry came away empty-handed from Bristol City.

The big surprise for me is that QPR's famous old ground, Loftus Road, is now called the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, named after a young lad who was stabbed to death in 2006. I don't think anyone will call it anything except Loftus Road.

The current QPR Manager is Mark Warburton. He began his Managerial career at Brentford, then went to (Glasgow) Rangers & Nottingham Forest before ending up at QPR, just 3 miles from Brentford. Quite the round trip.

Coventry Manager Mark Robins was a forward who played for 13 different clubs, best remembered for some heavy goal scoring at Norwich & Rotherham. Since becoming a journeyman Manager he's managed 5 or 6 mediocre Northern & Midland clubs without any notable success.
