Is my call on the river a bad one? Very unlucky flop for me. However the river, which initially seemed to be a terrible card for me, actually turned out to be one that may have been able to get me off the cooler.

Opponent Min re-raised me pre-flop, so wasn't exactly sure what he could have here. Set of Js of Qs were possible on flop, but would've expected them to try and get all their chips in before the river.
Reluctantly called the river all-in because I couldn't work out what he had based on how he played it. Was hoping he'd played AA/KK strangely or maybe 2 pair, but was I really beating much here? Other than pocket 10s can't really put him on a 10, and a flush wouldn't make sense. That said, I don't like my river call upon reflection.

No notes on opponent as don't recall playing him previously
Was a 2/4p cash game.

Any advice appreciated.

Any 10 or 10 K beats you on the river.

So yes fold a lot and call some times if you think player is bluffing, which is unlikely.

Don’t get hung up on I have a set on a straight/ flush board.

And up to the river, say it had been a brick, don’t get hung up on coolers they happen and it goes both ways, as Viffer famously said sometimes you’re the bug and sometimes you’re the windscreen.

    Hi Larson

What K 10 re-raises pre flop? I know 2/4 is notorious for people making bizarre plays but would K 10 do that here? Opponent hadn't been on the table for long but didn't seem the type to do anything funky. Even if he had been holding 10 10, I think that should give up on the turn. I simply didn't put him on a 10 as played, which may have been naïve of me I suppose.

If the river had bricked, then I 100% stack off and move on. Don't mind losing to coolers and seem to been good at running into bigger sets at the moment, but just wondered if any more experienced players than me could find a fold in this spot.
