Bit of a strange one.......

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this recently, but I've just played in the 12.30pm £5.20 satellite to the Major Early Semi, and managed to win it to qualify, but I've not been put in the tourney, and in the lobby to the £5.20 satellite it says I finished 2nd, with 6000 chips, even though I did win it. It's as though the last hand hasn't registered somehow.

I've tried to get the Tourney id up from the My Tables tab, but it won't load.

From my hand history, the winning hand to qualify is #1549051964 @12.38pm

Sorry to ask @Tikay10 but could you pass it up to the SKY Towers team to look into for me please. Ipresume the Techie Guys will need to look at why this has happened too.

Obviously the Early Semi is at 3pm, should I try and qualify again or wait to see what happens?

Sorry for delayed reply, was watchig the F1 & Moto GP.

How very odd.

I will pass it up Jez but I have no means of speaking with the right people today, it may not be until Monday morning.

I've realised what must have happened with this @Tikay10.

There were 3 of us in the satellite and I won the last hand HUp v PalaceBoys .....and then just as the Tourney has finished, Hellhouse has tried to join. Hopefully he got his money back

The lobby showed me with 6000 chips 2nd and Hellhouse 2000 chips but no finishing position.

I had this happen last week where I was the "hellhouse" of the scenario - what the problem I think is is that you won the tourney before end of late reg - software can't cope.

Just like you I went straight to live chat as I had regged the satellite but wasn't actually able to play any hands. They refunded me straight away

Totally agree with you. The CC and SKY Poker deal with our problems extremely well.

I only highlighted as a goodwill gesture because although I appreciated been put in to the Tourney .....I had actually qualified.

Even better news is that I've managed to qualify for the Major from that Early Semi

Morning Jez.

I discussed this with the Suits this morning, & your analysis was correct. It's a known but exceedingly rare bug, whereby if a players registers for a Satellite at the exact moment the final hand is being played, it gets all confused.

In truth I can't promise it will get fixed, as the new software is inching it's way along the conveyor belt, though it will be a good while yet, for better or worse.

It wasn't too much of a hassle tbh because It was dealt with very quickly by Moin in CC, who I got connected to as soon as I logged into Live Chat.

I know it must be very rare, as I'm sure it's the first time it's happened to me in nearly 6 years..... and I've played A LOT of sat's in that time!
