Heartbreaking documentary footage has captured World Cup hero Jack Charlton's final weeks as his loving wife tried her best to help him through his battle with dementia.
Finding Jack Charlton, which will be released in UK cinemas on November 6, shows the former Leeds United defender and Republic of Ireland manager speaking to his wife Pat at home in Northumberland.
In one tragic scene during the film which was shot over 18 months, Pat says to Charlton: 'They think a lot of you don't they, in Ireland?' But the star, who was Ireland boss from 1986 until 1995, replies: 'I have no idea.'
