Funny PLO8 hand and chat discussion

This happened yesterday evening, when I went all in on the flop for my last 232 chips @safc71 typed in the chat box 'I suppose I've got to call' or something like that, I typed 'yes' happy that he'd called pre with low cards, he had.

The run out made us all laugh. Friendly game this PLO8.

    PLO8 will test your sanity. Just got laugh , remember the times you have won with similar run outs, and we all have, and move on to the next game.

    Oh yes indeed. please don't think I was criticising the call at all. @safc71 knows I wasn't, we were just laughing about the fact he had to call with any 4, with no low, no pair and a back door 2 pair or trips to win. In fact from my perspective it's rare to flop one pair at PLO8 and be that far in front!

    Indeed Nick, I was playing the £5 PLO8 MTT at the same time and was 1st with 7 left and a pretty big chip lead, we got to the final table and I think I lost 4 out of 4 all in pre hands when favourite in each one. I think I was scooping until the river in 3 of them too!

    Needless to say I had run pretty well to get to that position but the wheel very much came off at the end. I think I ended up 5th!

    (Plus back door flush)..

    I wasn’t thinking that don’t worry, just shows there are always ways to get there in PLO8 and don’t we know it!

    That was a crazy hand @Enut shame you only had 232 chips left or i would have folded for sure. At least we could laugh about it in chat ;)
