Morning.
Numbers were good again yesterday, with everything covering, though not with quite the aplomb they did on Sunday, & Sheriff only just made it. Forum Posts volume was middle of the range, but Views shot up.
Traffic may have been slightly affected by the televised Leeds game, which turned out to be something of an anti-climax.
There was fun and games over at our sister site PokerStars when the software crashed in the early evening. Got to feel sorry for their Support Staff who repeatedly Tweeted that all MTT's were cancelled & standard cancellation rules would be imposed. No matter how many times they Tweeted that, the same questions, many of them edgy & rude, kept coming - "will I get a refund?". When an online poker site crashes it's bad for all parties, site & players, but it's always going to happen from time to time, it just is. Keeping calm when things go wrong does not seem to be part of a poker players armoury.

This went the way of bearlyther, for which he collected just over £200. Interestingly, on the rare occasion they run, he plays £200 Heads Up Speeds & has won 2 in the last 3 weeks. Roughly 70% of his volume is in MTT's & they have generated 95% of his profit, though of course Rewards Points feature heavily in SNG's & the value of them in Rewards payments don't show on Sharky.
Remarkably, Jac35 was 2nd, with yet another FT for scotty77 in 4th.
Big soft cuddly Regi was 6th, though the more people speak highly of him the more growly he becomes. It's bad for his image.

Well now, here's a turn-up for the books, Grumpy Jac won the Main, oioi. It's his best result of 2020 by some distance, more than double what he earned for 2nd in the Mega in August. Interestingly (?), his 3rd best result of 2020 was 7th in the Stack Builder Freeroll - remember them? - back in February for £360. What will he do with the money? Book (another) golfing holiday? Pressies for Harry? Put it away for future dental fees? Well done mate, delighted for you. And once you learn to fold Jacks pre in cash games when you are obv behind you'll be fine.
He had to overcome Crushy Heads Up to win it too. Bet that was a fun watch.

Delighted to see 68Trebor make the Final. We don't see him much on the Forum these days, which is a great shame as he wrote very eloquently. He's a big time Villa fan, so must be loving their recent results. Villa 2nd in the Premier League - chirping time, surely?
