By a process of elimination de to uncompetitive betting markets, we've ended up with AEK Athens v Leicester City today in the Europa League. Not ideal, but might be a decent game, Leicester generally play a decent style & Vardy is in top form at the moment.

When Brendan Rodgers got the Leicester gig I was convinced he had been promoted beyond his abilities & would fail. Think I need to backtrack on that, he seems to have done a pretty good job. He's only had one top job before - Liverpool - where he failed.
He was also at Celtic of course, winning 796 trophies, but that does not count, that's just tinpot stuff.

AEK Athens are having a new Stadium built, but for now they use the the rather swish looking Olympic Stadium. The technical term for that weird roof is "wavy". Or at least, it should be.
