Who won what, UKOPS Day 1, 30th October. Sensational start, guarantees beaten by 69%

Morning.
If anyone had suggested that UKOPS Day 1 would beat it's guarantees by a combined 69% I would have said they needed their head looking at, but the numbers don't lie, & £33,000 of Guarantees became £55,830 of prize pools. We could argue that the Guarantees were set too low, but that's surely not valid - how could anyone predict a Friday night Main & Mini on Sky Poker would make a collective £33,990?
Partly due to UKOPS buzz I suppose, Forum Traffic was at it's highest for some months too. Happy days.
Without a doubt numbers will flatten, & at some point bankroll fatigue will arrive on the scene, smoking a pipe, but that's a sensational start.

UKOPS 01 £4,000 Bounty Hunter - £6,280
MARK277 winning the opener was very pleasing, he's a lovely & very well-mannered chap who many of you will have met at SPT Manchester last year.
He's actually a bit of a Mini specialist, in the last 18 months he has won the Mini 3 times & ran 2nd in it twice, but this was a PB for him on Sky Poker.
In the Team Challenge that the Big Boys are running, first blood went to Team Olilol with Super Duper_Oli coming 2nd.

UKOPS 02 £15,000 Bounty Hunter (£25,000)
The Main went to ender749 which may have arched an eyebrow or two, but he has form here, winning Quickdraw twice recently. He had a cash or two in the November 2019 UKOPS too.
The only surprise in Sharki0 finishing 2nd is that he was not first, he has a phenom record in big-buck events here. In the last year alone he has nine four figure cashes, including victories in Main, BWBH, Summit, & Sunday Major twice. For the current UKOPS he is teamed with Dog Bloke in Team DogShark.
In 3rd was Crushy, so that means an early lead for Team Olilol as they cashed in the opener too.
GSmith, who has paired with Miniman in Team MiniMean, was 6th.

Dog Bloke took the Mini so that's the first win for one of the Teams & presumably that takes Team DogShark into the lead.
What a tough Mini it was, with fenix35 3rd & TommyD 4th.

UKOPS 04 £3,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£5,660)
Fitting that Jscorgie won the Mega, he's won the regular Mega three times in the last 2 months. He took down a Mini last month too.
3rd was Drudkh, who did so well in the much-missed MML, & was 3rd in a Main earlier this month.
Just 5 days after winning the Sunday Major, ValueJL popped up again, 4rth this time. He made his first forum post yesterday on a Hand Analysis thread, & a very good post it was too.
5th was Guitar Bloke who we can't seem to keep out of the headlines of late. He's been largely responsible for the boomlet in Twitch streamers after he did it so well.

As you mentioned I generally play the £5 games so it was good to get some run good in this event. Did not lose a 50/50 or 60/40 which is always helpful and picked up big hands at the correct times
