So in the past few days I have seen two players in my games go at each other because one of them had claimed to be a Trump supporter and the other guy decided that this meant he was irredeemable scum.
Why does politics always have to this way okay so I was rooting for Biden but it does not mean that I have to automatically hate anyone who was rooting the other way.
I think ultimately the majority of us want one of two things in politics which is either,
That to which we believe is in our own personal best interests
That which we believe is better for society as a whole.
Often these two things appear conducive to each other rather then exclusive of each other.
So the way I see it is that we are trying to solve a problem we may disagree on what the best solution is to the problem but we have similar goals in mind that is what we believe is best for society as a whole.
So why hate each other for thinking differently? why not try to educate the other person through reasoned debate if we are so sure we are right?
Further why is it that we are expected to automatically agree if everything one side says otherwise we obviously must support the other side. Eg if Trump says the sky is blue we must all now say the sky is green otherwise we support Trump and everything Trump says and Trump is a Nazi so therefore we must be a Nazi?
Its absurd.
I do not like modern art I think it is a joke rarely has real talent and makes a mockery of and cheapens true talent.
There was a famous dictator in History who had similar believes about modern art, his name was Adolf Hitler. I do not agree with putting millions of people in concentration camps attempting to enslave a large proportion of the human race or many other ideas that Hitler had.
When I voted Tory last election it was not because I supported every single Tory policy or even most Tory policies it was because I believed rightly or wrongly that Jeremy Corbyn would be a complete disaster, I was not a fan of Boris Johnson I even said at the time that I thought he was a terrible candidate just not as bad as Corbyn. I then got abuse for apparently agreeing with cutting benefits for the poorer members of society and those that had disabilities. I was then falsely attributed Nazi beliefs unfriended and bitched about.
This is why I rarely talk about politics in public spaces anymore.
Btw I do often question now whether I did make the right decision I have a lot of criticisms of Boris and am now wondering whether Corbyn really was the worse choice.
However regardless of what was or was not the right choice people make mistakes if I have made a judgement in error which I probably have in many areas of my life throughout my life as everyone likely has, This does not mean I should be seen as irredeemable scum.

I know Trump is like marmite, you either love him or hate him but the one thing everyone should agree on is that in a twist of irony he has probably done more to engage people in the US in the political arena than any other president in history.
You only have to look at the voter turnout to see what I mean. Both parties, Republican and Democrat increased the nuber of votes they recieved. That has to be a good thing but because Trump has been made the scapegoat for the consecutive failures of both parties this achievement will be sidelined.
Yes he's a narcisist beyond comparison but I do truly believe he loves his country and in his own misguided way felt he was doing the right thing by it.
Family members, relations and good friends can vote opposite to one another.
The media have their own game to play.
Splitting families up and sending some to Mars sounds like mob have arrived.
You may not like Trumps peanut butter moisturiser, or you may think Biden is creepy.
Both of those are perfectly good reasons to vote one way or the other.
In fact, you don’t need a reason to vote, just the ability to make a mark on a ballot paper, followed by the correct execution.
Rumour has it,you may not even have to be alive.
