Quickdraw just got quicker

Morning.

With effect from tonight (Wednesday 11th November) the Quickdraw MTT at 22.30 is changing.

It now becomes a hyper rebuy bounty hunter, 2000 chips starting stack with blinds up every 5 mins, unlimited rebuys if below starting stack in the first 8 levels with a 4000 chip add on after 8 levels.

The buy-in reduces from £55 to £22.

The guarantee increases from £1,000 to £1,500.

Good change imo. I'd guess this will be way more popular.

Hopefully, yes. The original format had not been performing well recently, & something needed to be done.

Looks like James has come up with a good way to rejuvenate it, but we shall see soon enough.

I can see why you have done it, I am just a bit sad as I had recently started to run good on the old quickdraw. It certainlt made UKOPS week a bit less painful for me. But 18 runners and 3 places paid probably isn't that great a look, and if it finishes a bit earlier that isn't so bad. Bound to be a bit of a crapshoot, but nobody is forced to enter.

I just need to learn to go easy on the rebuy button tonight (inevitable 3 rebuys in the first 5 minutes it is then).
