Who won what, Tuesday November 10th. Gambelo at the double

Afternoon.

Monday was a little flat, the post-UKOPS letdown I suppose, but last night was much better with solid numbers. Gold Rush at £8,340 was highest for a long time, ditto the Gold Rush Mini at near on £3,000. The lack of significant football helps, & it's much the same tonight, with International Friendlies between Armenia & Kuwait, and Lithuania & the Faroe Islands the two highlights. For every action there is a consequence, as some clever bloke once famously noted.

Don't forget, as of tonight Quickdraw changes format & buy-in, & the Guarantee goes up.

£1,000 BH £1,280

£6,000 Gold Rush Main £8,340

£2,000 Gold Rush Mini £2,935

£1,000 Mega £1,300

£6,000 Summit £8,300

£1,500 Turbo £2,010

£1,000 Quickdraw £1,150

£1,000 Mid Ex £1,500

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,280)

    fish369 won this for the 2nd time since June. His best score this year was winning the £6,000 BH back in March for which he collected £1,640. That was in the early days of boomlet & it made a whopping £9,360 on that occasion.

    £6,000 Gold Rush (£8,340)

    Hoff92 took the Main. What a CV this player has. This year he's won - amongst others - Gold Rush Main, Summit, Predator, and the biggest ever Hitman Main during boomlet. Last year he achieved the extremely rare feat of winning Main & Mini on the same night & so scooping the Sky Poker FTJ for £5,000. Seems like he's well handy. Mean Machine was 2nd.

    Was a surprise - a pleasant one I hastily add - to see Allen23 3rd in a Main. Don't think he satted in, but he played Monday's Main too, so maybe he is moving up the stakes. There seems to be a belief in poker that when you succeed at one level you are obliged to move up, though historically Allan23 has always resisted that. IMO, if you can beat a certain level, there's nothing wrong with staying there. In life generally we tend rise to our level of incompetence. My view holds little weight though, if I were a stick of rock it would say NIT in the middle. He does OK at higher stakes to be fair, as he won UKOPS 23 last week. Proper Big Boy now.

    £2,000 Mini Gold Rush (£2,935)

    The Mini went the way of chewyman. I had a good delve into the archives & could not find much by way of history for him, except a minor placing in a Mini Major last year.

    3rd was Morris707, with the smooth-talking gregkdy82 4th.

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,300)

    My my, MTT's are SO fickle. The Bates struggled to win a race during UKOPS, but this was his 2nd win in 2 nights (Mega & Sheriff) since UKOPS ended.

    £6,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£8,300)

    Summit was a proper tussle, with Gambelo eventually taking the honours. Quite a session he had, as he won the very last old format Quickdraw too.

    Horse racing specialist Ambo seems to be in fine form & I'm sure it will be a relief to Amnotere to know he is alive & well. In the UKOPS PLO8 he led early doors but just failed to stay the trip after encountering some bumping at the furlong pole. His trainer suggested he needed to improve or they'll have him gelded, & the mere threat seemed to do the trick as 2nd in Summit was in line with his BHA rating. He's almost a winner without a penalty so worth following next time out. Let's hope they don't try him with a tongue tie, just imagine Ambo unable to natter.

    @Gambelo 415000 1 £1245 + £656.02 Head Prizes 7

    @NChanning 0 2 £830 + £505.65 Head Prizes 7

    @TheSwan 0 3 £498 + £189.84 Head Prizes 4

    @M10Dembele 0 4 £415 + £84.38 Head Prizes 2

    @chicknMelt 0 5 £332 + £37.50 Head Prizes 1

    @fishhhhh 0 6 £269.75 + £461.73 Head Prizes 8

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£2,010)

    SenorBegs pretty much prints, but he particularly excels in the Turbos. He won this one last night, & won the UKOPS version on Saturday.

    In 3rd was Doooobs who ran a little thin during UKOPS but did win Friday's Quickdraw.

    I won't be playing it every night or anything, but definitely looking to up the abi where possible. If I get battered, can always waddle back to the micro comfort zone. Thanks for the write up as always
