Dominic Cummings Confirms He'll Quit Downing Street By End Of Year
Boris Johnson’s top adviser Dominic Cummings is to leave Downing Street by the end of the year.
The man seen as the most powerful figure in No 10 told the BBC’s political editor Laura Kuenssberg he was making himself “redundant” as he had previously suggested.
Cummings told the BBC that “rumours of me threatening to resign are invented” after speculation that he would follow communications director Lee Cain in leaving Number 10.
However, he said that his “position hasn’t changed since my January blog” when he wrote that he hoped to make himself “largely redundant” by the end of 2020.
The BBC also quoted a Downing Street source as saying Cummings would be “out of government” by Christmas.

Treasury advisor sacked by Dominic Cummings wins five-figure payout
A former government aide who was fired by Boris Johnson’s top advisor Dominic Cummings will receive a five-figure settlement from the government.
Sonia Khan, who worked as a media adviser for the Treasury, had been sacked by Cummings in August of last year. She was “frogmarched” out of Downing Street by police, according to a Daily Mail report at the time.
It is the end of the "Cummings era," proclaims the Guardian, as the top aide leaves a "void at the heart of No 10". "See ya!" says the Daily Star.
An official tells the Financial Times that Mr Cummings exit followed "a day of tantrums." The FT says Boris Johnson held a 45-minute meeting with him and director of communications Lee Cain to discuss "their general behaviour." The exchanges are described as "tense".
But Mr Cain tells the Daily Telegraph that the meeting was "warm" and Mr Cummings dismissed claims that he had briefed against the prime minister as an "invention".
The Times suggests the pair were told to leave "with immediate effect" because of fears "they would poison the well" if they stayed.
Senior figures tell the Times that there is likely to be a huge clear out of aides appointed by Mr Cummings and Mr Cain. They predict that ministers will reassert their authority.
Meanwhile, speculation has begun about who may now become the permanent chief of staff. Sajid Javid is touted by the Telegraph and the Times, although sources close to the former chancellor play down the suggestion.
The Sun raises concerns about the government's future direction, and insists the Prime Minister must not pursue what it calls a more "woke" "Labour-lite" agenda.
Oh I don’t know ......”Brexit Brexit Boris Exit” sounds like a good jingle?
Princess Not Nuts may well now be in charge.

Maybe signs of what is to follow?
Will Boris be next to quit?
I couldnt ever see Boris resigning, because nothing is ever his fault.
The exception to this would be if something ever actually went according to plan.
