Who won what, Thursday 12th November. Crushy doubles up

Morning.

Very solid numbers again last night, despite the magnetic attraction of Serbia v Scotland, which I'm quite sure had the entire world on the edge of their seats.

The new style Quickdraw made very similar numbers to Wednesday, £2,280 this time. Worth remembering the old format was struggling to make £1,000. James really has pulled a rabbit out of the hat there.

On Wednesday, Super_Oli hit a hat trick of wins, & we did not see a repeat last night, but Lord Crush did win two. What a pain it must be to sat to the right of either of those two.

£1,000 BH £1,660

£6,000 Hitman Main £7,650

£2,000 Hitman Mini £2,035

£1,000 Mega £1,300

£2,000 Sheriff £2,750

£1,500 Turbo £1,710

£1,500 Quickdraw £2,320

£1,000 Mid Ex £1,480

    The opener went to blondie505 one way or another. I can't find much history on the player, except that they ran 2nd in Sheriff earlier this year, & has been here a good few years. If blondie is reading this, call me, I'll be hanging on the telephone.

    Tough old final too, with shrimpy in 2nd, BrayCorp in 3rd, hhamza 4th & mushroom 6th. Mushroom has now finished 5th, 6th & 6th in this in the last two months. Knocking on the door.

    Armyburger is going along nicely, Sheriff winner last night, Quickdraw winner last month, & 3rd in the Sunday Major in September. To win it he had to resit the probings of Dog Bloke, never a pleasant experience.

    A 2nd successive FT for hhamza in 6th.

    Very good @Tikay, very good. I saw Blondie in concert only a couple of years ago, she is in her 70's now but has still got an amazing stage presence and a good voice. Sometimes seeing you heroes when they are past their prime can be a disappointment, Blondie certainly weren't.

    @Enut

    She's the nuts, & yes, she's aged wonderfully.

    Here she is at Glasto in 2014.

    Two points of note;

    What on earth is that sort of harness or strapping she's wearing?

    The guitar solo by Tommy Kessler at around 4m 40s onwards is wicked. He's some guitarist.

    No idea about the harness, but then style has never really been my thing. I do know that when we saw them she came on wearing a cape and when she turned round emblazoned on the back in great big letters was 'STOP F**KING THE PLANET!'

    Their last album Pollinator was very, very good (IMO) and all profits of the merchandise went to save the bees etc.
