Who won what, Monday 16th November. Mini UKOPS, the regular schedule, plus a Final Table Jackpot

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,083

Morning. Loads to get through today, so let's crack on.

Day 1 of Mini UKOPS saw all 4 cover guarantees, though the Mini "Main" so to speak only just got there. This one might struggle as the week goes on.

In the regular stuff, it was a much quieter night than of late, in fact Sheriff actually missed (only be 2), the new format Quicky had it's lowest prize pool yet, & the rest of the schedule generally struggled a little compared to the last week. Monday is never a great day, but even so these numbers surprised me. The Main did very well though.

£2,000 Mini UKOPS 01 £2,125

£1,000 Mini UKOPS 02 £1,305

£5,000 Mini UKOPS 03 £5,220

£2,000 Mini UKOPS 04 £2,736

£1,000 BH £1,020

£6,000 Marksman £8,340

£1,000 Mega £1,060

£2,000 Sheriff £2,000

£1,500 Turbo £1,620

£1,500 Quickdraw £1,840

£1,000 Mid Ex £1,200

    Mini UKOPS 01 £1,500 Bounty Hunter (£2,125)

    The opening Mini UKOPS went to Brunetta, seemingly playing their first ever MTT on Sky Poker. Make of that what you will. Single-tabled it too, all the way.

    In 4th was MZS, who won Marksman Main for tidy money exactly a week earlier.

    Over £80 went the way of Jac35, who almost certainly entered this with his case money, & so lives to fight another day.

    @Brunetta 1275000 1 £265.62 + £89.19 Head Prizes 12

    @hhammerhea 0 2 £148.75 + £42.49 Head Prizes 10

    @Vaatrrik_2 0 3 £87.76 + £22.48 Head Prizes 8

    @blades23 0 5 £58.44 + £23.53 Head Prizes 7

    Mini UKOPS 02 £1,000 Freezeout (£1,305)

    TommyD took this. I engaged in some discussion with him last night on Forum, & as always with Tommy it was civil. Later, I got to thinking how old he must be. I've known him around 12 years at a guess & he was surely the wrong side of 30 when I met him. Think I'll put him down as 45, just to be on the safe side & not offend him, though I actually think he's nearer 50. Where did the years go?

    The final was a bit of a benefit for the Mini UKOPS Sidebet thing, with PBKR & tonyp142 both making strong runs & earning points.

    Mini UKOPS 03 £5,000 Bounty Hunter (£5,220)

    This was the Mini Main, & the 1st & 2nd are both very good players indeed, more used to mixing it in the higher stakes stuff. It's interesting the way poker works, trophy hunting has no stigma to it - not that I'm suggesting it should, far from it. If Pogba turned up for a Sunday League game on Hackney Marshes, or Lewis Hamilton entered a Clubmans Mini championship at Cadwell Park there'd be murders, but in poker it's deemed to be perfectly acceptable, perhaps because there is no effective way to stop it. Hopefully, nobody will take this the wrong way, but it is (to me, anyway) an interesting point.

    We all know all about Mr Arrogant - or at least as much as we are able, as he's a little guarded - but it's worth noting that he also ran 5th in last night's (non UKOPS) Main, so he earned himself £500 (plus any Prio Bonus applicable) of Sky Poker Final Table Jackpot.

    In 2nd was roddy28, & if that name rings a bell it's because he's seriously handy, in fact he won the Autumn UKOPS Leaderboard this time last year. He's had 6 four figure cashes in just 700 games including a Sunday Major. He also won a 1,063 runner Mini during the Easter UKOPS this year, which was boomlet boosted.

    @Arrogant 2610000 1 £652.50 + £186.91 Head Prizes 16

    @roddy28 0 2 £365.40 + £27.35 Head Prizes 3

    @rossybee16 0 4 £170.96 + £62.06 Head Prizes 10

    @farahani 0 5 £143.55 + £21.44 Head Prizes 3

    @MAGPIETYKE 0 6 £116.14 + £24.61 Head Prizes 5

    Mini UKOPS 04 £2,000 Rebuy B/Hunter (£2,736)

    2 surprises here for what was, in effect, a revved up Reload.

    1) madprof, the finest cook chef in the west country, ran 4th.

    2) In a 340 runner field with 372 rebuys & 200 add-ons he managed to run 4th despite only taking 2 head prizes.

    The mysteries of poker. Well done though Prof, & that's Mini UKOPS mostly paid for.

    The win went to djsppiros, who did OK in both Elim Freerolls & Streak Week's recently.

    @djsppiros 2224000 1 £345.42 + £100.30 Head Prizes 8

    @Cans4fun 0 2 £201.10 + £51.49 Head Prizes 12

    @chief5902 0 3 £121.75 + £37.76 Head Prizes 8

    @madprof 0 4 £97.40 + £11.20 Head Prizes 2

    @Matthugg 0 5 £82.08 + £78.37 Head Prizes 21

    £1,000 Rewards Freeroll (1,097 entries)

    rayaz battled past 1,096 players to win this, narrowly ousting Plumpy who won enough for a three night season ticket to Just Eat. Talking of which, slightly surprised to see Snoop Dogg advertising Just Eat, back in the day he was seriously rad.

    I noticed a small cash for HAIRFLICK who was on the Forum last week having a little grumble. Hopefully he feels better now.

    At the time i didn't know i was in for a jackpot payment so feels like a missed opportunity as i came into the $33 main as cl. Still, a nice payday.

    Credit to pacman.Has a very good bounty hunter style of play.
