Hi all my name is Carl aka Hotwheals. I am a 33 year old wheelchair user hence the name and yes i know its spelt wrong but thats for another day haha. I thought i would start writing down my progress here as its something i use to do when i played here back in the day. I left poker behind about 3 years ago now due to losing interest after my good friend passed away off here Sparrowlegs from cancer and then by a cruel twist of fate i then got cancer myself 6 months later. So playing poker was almost impossible as with the surgery and therapy i had to have concentrating became almost impossible as i was constantly tired, but im all clear now and slowly but surely my energy levels are coming back so hence the reason i am back. Im gonna take it easy while i get back in the flow of things, im gonna play small heads up sit & gos and small mtts while i get use to things again although i did play one £21 heads up game to see what the standard was still like as that was the level i use to play and i did win so all good. I have played some of the UKOPS mini Mtts this week and have done well with a couple of deep runs including one final table, although it really was being thrown back in at the deep end being sat between two of Sky Pokers most successful Mtt players at the final table. As i said i play heads up holdem sit & gos and anything to do with Hi Lo as i love that game, so im sure you will come by me playing those Mtts or DYMS. Anyway thats enough about me, i will update you on how i go and i hope to see you all at the tables

Even better that you got the all clear from that dreaded disease.
I did see you on one of my tables the other night, and thought I had not seen you in awhile. Best of luck in getting back into the swing of it.
gl mate
Great to hear from you mate. After you finished 4th in Mini UKOPS 11 the other day I wrote;
Delighted to see my virtual friend Hotwheals (4th) can still cut it, he's some special bloke.
I was unaware you'd been very unwell, so it's all the more special to see you back. I used to dread/love sharing PLO8 Tables with you, you were huge fun & a perfect gent, but you so rarely made mistakes.
Stick around the forum, & gl at the tables.
Pretty sure I shared a table for precisely 1 hand in a PLO8 MTT the other day. I was pretty sure I had the best hand.
I was wrong
May bump into you on the PLO8 tables
Good luck
@Hotwheals
Hi Carl,
How are you coping with lockdown & all this Tier 1/2/3 & social-distancing stuff?
Good to see you running so deep in the MegaStack today Carl! Nice FT and very UL to not to go all the way.
Enough for a few more boxes of Cheerios.
Hopefully see you around again soon.
All the best!
Graham
Really good to see you back, hope life is treating you as well as possible.
It was a good battle in the 08 last night, you’re a tough opponent, all the best for the future on and off the virtual felt mate.
