just loving watching him get screwed but surely WSOP need to check that he does not have a gambling problem and that he can afford to gamble like this.

preferably to force log him out when he has the nuts so he times out and doug wins pot anyway. Anyone else been watching this beauty.

    3. Daniel Negreanu (Canada): $41.8 million
Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu spent considerable time atop the all-time money list until the 2018 WSOP. But Negreanu’s career isn’t anything to scoff at. He has six WSOP bracelets, made 38 final tables, and has cashed 108 times, including as 11th place finish at both the 2001 and 2015 WSOP Main Events. Negreanu was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2014.

Negreanu’s uncanny ability to read his opponents with incredible accuracy has undoubtedly contributed to his impressive success and well-deserved place among the best poker players of all time.

I admire the cheeky way, very friendly and chatty he tries to get a read on people and his ability to second guess what his opponents might have...this takes time and human contact

Time you don't get on line and you can't read the people

Hey Haysie I already knew He could afford his stakes and was not at risk of going broke. Whilst I did not know his networth I was always confident that as a professional with a sensible he would not take risks that would break him.

I was more been silly and having a poke at how badly it was going for him.

I do not for a second question whether this guy is a decent player I am well aware he is one of the very best out there.

I just dislike the guy for quite a few reasons. I don't like people that virtue signal, yet show a lack of moral compass. I don't like how he consistently gets on board with poker sites that screw over the player base just to shill for sponsorship.

He gets a bit mad on the golf course.

Daniel Negreanu Tells of Shocking $550k Prop Bet on the Golf Course

Appearing on the No Laying Up podcast, Daniel Negreanu has told some epic tales of his exploits on the golf course. The Canadian high-stakes tournament star went through some of his best prop bets that he made over the years.

Not even picking up the game until his early thirties, Negreanu was making insane prop bets as soon as he could swing a club. Then one drunken night in Las Vegas he blurted out that within a year he could shoot 80 at TPC Summerlin from the back tees. This is a 7,000 yard course and Negreanu can’t even play to a handicap yet.

So, just to make it interesting, a wager of $550,000 was agreed on, and Negreanu hit the practice range with much gusto. Eventually the score started to come down, and with perfect timing the bet was successfully completed.

This kind of story wasn’t even rare though. There was also talk of losing big money to Phil Ivey, including $1.2 million in a single day. The golf debts racked up to a total loss of $3 million eventually, but with the help of skilled caddie and coach Christian Sanchez he has won it all back plus more.
