A group of fishermen conducting a routine fish survey were shocked when they saw an enormous goldfish (pictured) leap out of the water in a lake in Greenville, South Carolina. The fishermen were electrofishing, a process which temporarily stuns fish so they float to the surface to be counted. But due to its size, the 9lb goldfish jumped out the water because the voltage was not strong enough. Director of greenways, natural and historic resources at Greenville Country Parks Ty Houck, 49, said after inspecting the fish and measuring it, they released it back into the water and it swam off.
