Morning.

A typically quiet Monday, though slightly better than last week, with the Main doing particularly well.

Some outstanding performances too, as we shall see.

Away from poker, four headlines dominated the news.

1) London & large parts of the south east went into Tier 3.

2) The electoral college ratified Biden's win in the Presidency.

3) Betfair settled the Presidency market, so the gambling economy will be boosted by £870 million today.

4) Jesy left Little Mix. Utterly devastating news. The nation is inconsolable.

£1,000 BH £1,340

£6,000 Marksman £8,070

£2,000 Mini £2,200

£1,000 Mega £1,440

£2,000 Sheriff £2,000

£1,500 Turbo £1,560

£1,500 Quicky £2,040

£1,000 MidEx £1,060

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,340)

    It was a long overdue win for NOSTRI, who has been on a bit of a downswing which began at the end of October & ran though UKOPS/Mini UKOPS, & this was his best result in that period. Pre-downswing he'd been going along nicely, with wins in Mini & MidEx, 4th in a Main & 7th in a Sunday Major. The good news is that UKOPS is round the corner. Bet he can't wait.

    Another big win for M10Dembele, that's now five 4 figure wins from less than 300 MTT's - 2 x Main Events, 2 x Sunday Majors & a BWBH.

    He was not done yet either, as well as binking the Main, he was 4th in Mega, 5th in Sheriff & 2nd in Quicky. Has to be the player of the night.

    Runner-up Max_Bear is pretty handy too, he's had TWO cashes in excess of £9,000 in the last 13 months. (2nd SPT Online, winner of UKOPS Main). Has any other Sky Poker player managed 2 x £9,000 cashes in the last 13 months? That I doubt.

    @M10Dembele 1345000 1 £1083.80 + £378.24 Head Prizes 10

    £2,000 Mini Marksman (£2,200)

    An outstanding result for pstoney, last sighted in the winners enclosure in a UKOPS Rewards Freeroll back in October.

    6th was Super_Oli, who had a spectacular November, including victory in a UKOPS HR for over £3,000, but December has been a bit grim so far. He's either running bad or past his prime.

    I shall be so disappointed if 4th placed SPIRERITE does not come from Chesterfield.

    @pstoney 880000 1 £275 + £82.33 Head Prizes 11

    @fgr52 0 2 £154 + £42.80 Head Prizes 11

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,440)

    But for the amazing night M10Dembele had, MAKAKA would surely have been player of the night, winning both Mega & Turbo. Since returning from a 5 month sabbatical a few weeks ago he's now won Turbo, £1k BH, Mega, Reload & 7 @ 7.

    kenmillon, who won a Mini in September, took this. Look at the FT he had to beat too, some proper Big Boys there.

    This was part deux of MAKAKA's double.

    Shoutout to my good friend kidgrimsby, 4th here & 5th in the Rewards Freeroll to win himself a UKOPS Main Event seat, great stuff Dave.

    Uncle Ungulate continues to occupy the wrong half of final tables, 5th this time.

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,060)

    MidEx went to Richrash93, with Palace Bloke unable to beat him due to over-folding too much.

    Quite a session for The--Don - 3rd in Mid Ex, 6th in a £750 BH & 9th in Mega. He's better known as a cash player but after those remarkable results in the Mini UKOPS Reload equivalent - 2nd three times - he's been gradually transitioning to MTT's. That's the same route Craig has been taking & I fancy Craig may have been mentoring him, they have very similar playing styles. Just saying.

    Thanks for the shout-out Tony, it's amazing how a few selected bottles of Real Ale lighten the mood, and unlocks the inner table madman in us all; I apologise for all the river bad beats I gave out last night.

    One question:: Do you want me to send you a map so you can reach next door?

    Cheers and thanks for all you do on the forum, and Sue sends you Christmas Kisses xxx

    @kidgrimsby

    "inner madman", very good. We all have one, even me. Mine seems to be locked away until I'm down to 20 Bigs & it's close to the bubble, then I suddenly go all silly & let him out. It's huge fun.

    Good shout with the map. I've been so busy here & with some other stuff, but I was on Tom's Diary (Red-Dog) yesterday & hope to get back on my Diary in the next few days. It's been way too long, but I needed to focus my efforts here for a variety of reasons.

    xx to you both.
