Asda shoppers have been left fuming after an online customer purchased 23 delivery slots and offered to sell them to desperate shoppers for £15 each.

The customer, based in Pentwyn, Cardiff, wished social media a "Merry Christmas" as they announced plans to sell the pre-booked slots for £15 each on selling platform Facebook Marketplace.

    A bit unfortunate when slots are at a premium and there is a market for this type of thing.

    According to the article slots go for free/£3 or £7 depending on amount spent and delivery time so the seller wouldn't bank the whole £15 for each sale if they do get any.

    Social media being what it is people will type their disgust.

    Never had a online delivery from a supermarket before so unsure on how someone would be able to book as many slots in the one go.

    Someone saw an angle and has looked to take advantage of an economic situation.

    Fair play to him, we do live in a capitalist country. Why knock someone for spotting an angle to make a few quid. As for the trolls showing their disgust, surely their beef should be with the supermarket for allowing someone to block book slots?
