Morning.
Oh man, what a night that was, especially in the High Roller where all sorts of drama kicked off.
UKOPS traffic was way ahead of reasonable expectations, with all 7 Day 1 events coming in with excellent numbers.
Away from UKOPS, Sky Poker made a deliberate decision to run Mega, Sheriff, Turbo, Quicky & Mid Ex with their regular guarantees alongside UKOPS, & it worked just fine, they all covered.
£10,000 UKOPS 01 = £14,520
£20,000 UKOPS 02 = £25,400
£20,000 UKOPS 03 = £27,700
£5,000 UKOPS 04 = £8,820
£3,000 UKOPS 05 = £3,640
£4,000 UKOPS 06 = £4,800
£3,000 UKOPS 07 = £5,020

UKOPS 01 £10,000 Bounty Hunter (£14,520)
Swannlol is only an occasional visitor to MTT's here, with less than 400 games in the last 4 years. He had quite the session last night though, winning both this & the non-UKOPS Mega. He picked up ~£2,275 for his UKOPS 01 win - easily his best result.
2nd was our pnictogen friend Nitrogen who won Sheriff a week ago. Seems like a really decent sort judging by his post on the Forum this morning;
"Congrats to Swannlol that was great fun. I normally play a lot of live poker between Xmas and New Year so the UKOPS is very welcome. Nice to chat a bit with people at the table - shout out to @LARSON7 and @OldBoyBob, pleasure playing with you."
In 3rd was OldBoyBob, what a Christmas he has had at the tables. 6 years & 700 MTT's here without a single result of note until the last few days, when he's taken off big time. On 23rd December he won Mega, on Xmas day he won the £1k BH & ran 2nd in the Main, and now he runs 3rd in a UKOPS. Most extraordinary.
Glaswegian LARSON7 was 4th, Foresight 5th & Flyn 6th.

UKOPS 02 £20,000 High Roller (£25,400)
Oh my, what drama here. It got Heads Up between Tedson & craigcu12 & then Plusnet decided to remove Craig's internet connection, no warning, just like that. Good old Plusnet, do you proud. It took Craig a good while to get his head in gear & set up a connection on his Mobile phone. And what did Tedson do whilst Craig was offline? Nothing. He just sat & timed out every hand & never stole a chip. The difference between 1st & 2nd was £3,000. That's proper noble play by Tedson. To be fair, & without taking a thing away from Tedson, I have a hunch that at least half the players on Sky Poker would do the same thing. Maybe not when there is £3,000 on the table just waiting to be picked up though.Tedson has one of the most spectacular CV's here on Sky Poker. He collected £7,823 in an Xmas UKOPS 364 days ago, then £7,112 last night. During 2020 he's also won Summit, BWBH, plus 1st & 3rd in Sunday Majors. If my maths are correct - dubious - this was his 30th 4 figure cash on Sky Poker. Not many have managed that. He's a smashing chap too, he was with us in Vegas a few years ago.
And what about Craig's record in UKOPS HR's since he decided to play MTT's 2 months ago? He's played 3 UKOPS HR's in the last 2 months, finishing 4th, 4th & 2nd, & collecting over £9,000. I don't need a lecture on sample size, but he's either on the greatest sunrun ever or he's deceptively good. Poker players can be very odd, & anyone who plays non-conventionally tends to get a bit of stick, & I think that sums Craig up perfectly. He's generally non-conventional in many ways, but he's immensely popular amongst the SPT regulars, though he can be accident-prone, as in when he lost his wallet containing all his cash & train tickets home at SPT Brighton. Think he left it on a local bus, so we can't blame Plusnet for that.
In 3rd was Hoff, who went on to finish 4th in the Main.
In 10th was Pretty Boy James Williams - @lJAMESl - who was big time back in the day & has been a wonderful friend to me.
14th was Chrismags, fresh from taking down BWBH a week or so ago.
Very well done to MAXALLY, who got in for buttons via a satellite & ended up with around £450. He ran 5th in the Non-UKOPS Mega too.
Just sneaking into the money was Ian Simpson, who some of you may remember from the days of Sky Poker TV. Northern lad, speaks funny, Geordie I think.

UKOPS 03 £20,000 Bounty Hunter (£27,700)
grinddd has had a splendid few months. 2nd in BWBH, 2nd in Gold Rush Main, 3rd in Sunday Major & now a UKOPS Main for serious money.
whitters is doing great too, with recent wins in Summit & Avenger, & 2nd here, those 3 scores alone coming to over £7,000.

UKOPS 04 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£8,820)
Goodness me, almost £9,000 for a Mini, that's almost boomlet-esque.
wiggywoo has not been seen in a results thread since 2015, & certainly chose the right time to book a win. £1,230 for what amounts to a dressed-up Mini is serious money.
In 2nd was LEGENDERRY who makes a habit of doing well in Minis.

UKOPS 06 £4,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£4,800)
On Xmas Eve DivsDreams notched up a double, taking both the £1k BH @ 7.30pm & the Mini, & he made it 3 wins in 4 nights here with a UKOPS Turbo triumph. He was also 2nd in last night's non-UKOPS Sheriff.
2nd was Chrismags, who ran deep in the earlier High Roller, with Main Event runner-up whitters 3rd this time.

UKOPS 07 £3,000 Hyper Rebuy B/Hunter (£5,020)
What a run RCord is having, that's 4 wins in a week or so - 2 Quickys, a Mini & now a UKOPS Hyper.
2nd was M10Dembele, who's had a stunning year, with wins in Sunday Major (twice), BWBH, Hitman Main & Marksman Main.
destinycod could only manage 4th, but he did win the non-UKOPS Turbo, so probably got out of it on the night unless he was mashing the re-entry button all evening. As if.

Not just for winning but for waiting when @craigcu12 lost connection!
Also brilliant run in HR's for @craigcu12
Great blokes the pair of them.
So uplifting to read stories of sportsmanship like this and the good guys doing well.
Nice cash for @MAXALLY too.
Well done lads!
I'd have loved to have seen Craig's rage again on stream though. I enjoy a good stream rage!
I now understand Craig had a 2;1 chip lead when he disco'd, so all the more credit to @Tedson for not taking advantage.
