    Its a no win situation, criticism for not protecting problem gamblers, and lots of sh1t when they do.

    His own fault if it did.
    He probably thought his comment was clever.

    You cant Joke about this sort of stuff. With the government crackdown and strict regulation and every site been watched so stringently. The gambling sites have to take things seriously.

    In this case they handled it by barring the account until he contacted them and then putting a strict deposit limit in place seems well handled to me.

    It is a good sign that they went for deposit limit not volume of play, amount of time spent playing or amount staked I think deposit limit is the most relevant.
