This is just a personal plea for sky not to follow the numerous other sites with all this throwing tomatoes and pies **** it really dose take away from the game. So please when the update dose arrive don’t add this cheap gimmick that seems like it’s aimed at pre teens.

Though, if memory serves, weren't hole cards face down on PKR, unless a player specifically selected to re-check them?
I would be in favour of that. But that's it.
I may have dreamt this, so confirmation would be appreciated.
I can't see it coming myself not in the mean time that's for sure, first up we need to customise our bet sizings, these days lots of people use cbet sizes of 1/3 and some also do over bet sizes.
Customizing bet sizes would be decent to.
They will defo come if we get stars software. No reason not to really for the reason aforementioned.
The other stuff will likely come to, including bet sizing options etc.
Yes cards were face down, you could do a number of different things with the PKR software.
You could buy food or drinks for you or other players. You could do chip tricks and buy clothes etc.
Don’t think you could throw things tho
I agree with the above about throwables being a totally pointless feature. I never use them on the other sites offering them. Can you imagine being in a live game and being allowed to throw something at an opponent? It's not really part of the game of poker. On the other hand though, they do absolutely no harm, and can easily be ignored or disabled.
Conversely, when this new Sky Software arrives, I would love if Sky do a big push to attract and keep new and old inactive players. I can only imagine how many players have come to play on Sky and quickly quit to never return, because of the poor, glitch & bug ridden and dated software (as often discussed on these forums).
Unless I have a setting some where that excludes me from marketing material, I feel Sky lack in that department a bit. I cannot remember a time during the past year or so - since becoming a semi-regular player on Sky - I have received an email to inform me of current promotions (unlike a lot of the other poker sites). Ironically though, the reason for my return to playing on Sky was the fact I was offered a free £10 tournament ticket in an email at the end of 2019.
I also believe that a high percentage of players who may become regulars for years to come would be ones who are already familiar with online poker and looking for a change. They'd maybe search through some of the affiliate sites offering deals like rake races/rake back etc to find their new home. When I have looked on these sites recently, sky are no where to be seen. Perhaps that could be an avenue to explore for Sky in the future.
However, maybe going a bit off topic now, but the most important thing for me would be to keep the unique selling point that Sky already possess, and that is, being exclusively for UK-based players.
It is a difficult job to keep everyone happy, but for now, I'm a Sky Player for the foreseeable.
See you all at the tables.
As it is I just block them on all sites. Someone lobbed one at me after a particularly nasty beat, and that was that for them. It just seems another weapon for those who throw abuse others at the table. Why risk the downside of something that could make your tilt worse with no obvious upside. Unfortunately they come back if you reinstall, but you can remove them quick enough.
that snap cam thing GG has could be a laugh but I can see it used for mostly abuse sadly.
I think Wigan voted for a pie barm. Being from the south, I had no idea what this was. Upon Googling, I found this is basically a pie sandwich - I approve.
London's favourite pie was banoffee. One can only imagine the outrage when those past Northampton read that particular result.
A barm cake is commonly known as a roll darn sarf. 😊
HNY guys!
It reminded me of when I used to enjoy a sausage roll in a roll. An idea I stole from an episode of "My 600lb Life".
