Who won what, 1st January 2021. Now includes 7 @ 7 & Reload

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,935

Morning.

Effective today's report, we'll include both 7 @ 7 and Reload on a daily basis, but will not include the Rewards Freeroll. So that means we'll have the results of the nightly Top Ten. Sort of. Ish.

We will try that for a week or so & see how it goes. If everyone's happy - such as poker players are ever happy - we'll make the change permanent.

Meanwhile, 2021 started with a bang, with some really excellent numbers last night.

7 @ 7 £1,414

£6,000 BWBH £11,300

£10,000 Avenger Main £15,020

£4,000 Avenger Mini £6,170

£1,000 Mega £1,860

£2,000 Sheriff £2,500

£1,500 Reload £1,938

£1,500 Turbo £2,220

£1,500 Quicky £2,640

£1,000 MidEx £1,560

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,414)

    On the day that 7 @ 7 made it's Results Thread debut, the cash prize pool was £707, and of course the Heads Prize Pool was £707. All feels satisfyingly symmetrical for the 7 @ 7.

    Cash Prize Pool£707

    Heads Prize Pool£707

    An interesting winner too. Poker23 has just 10 MTT's on his Sky Poker CV. 7 were in the last 3 days, & the other three were almost 9 years ago, in March 2012. Perhaps he's been on holiday.

    Runner-up supercrazy seems to be a 7 @ 7 season ticket holder, with 5 final table appearances in the last few months. In contrast to the winner, he's been with Sky Poker for some 12 years without a break as far as I can see.

    In 3rd was TommyD, who needs no introduction, though it's not widely known that he was the Viva Las Vegas Beer Pong Champion around 10 years ago.

    £6,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£11,300)

    jakescol seems to enjoy Friday's on Sky Poker. Some 6 weeks ago he took down the Friday night Avenger Main for £2,335, and last night he completed a lovely Friday double by binking BWBH for £2,309.

    On 30th December, Super_Oli was 3rd in the UKOPS HR for some ~£1,800. He gave himself New Years Eve off, then dialled back in last night to run 2nd here for £1,330. A few short hours later he won the Turbo for £550. What a life, but at least we can see why he's called Super, though I've heard a few unflattering variations on "Super".

    Exactly a week earlier, on Christmas Day, PBKR won Avenger for over £2,000, & he popped up here in 6th for £540.

    @jakescol 565000 1 £1610.25 + £698.93 Head Prizes 6

    @Super_Oli 0 2 £994.40 + £338.96 Head Prizes 5

    £10,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£15,020)

    Avenger Main went to LiamRynn, and it seems here we have a chap who works long & hard at his poker. He played through the night on New Years Eve before eventually clocking off at around 0630 on New Years Day. He was back on site mid-afternoon, winning a 191 runner BH for a couple of hundo. He carried on playing until at least 0830 this morning, so that was a 17 or 18 hour shift, in the middle of which he won Avenger for £2,360. He'll have earned himself a good few tickets in the SPT Giveaway, for sure.

    Runner-up donkhunta was 5th in UKOPS 10 earlier this week.

    @LiamRynn 1772000 1 £1896.28 + £465.63 Head Prizes 8

    £4,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£6,170)

    The operating system of MSDOS seems to be in fine shape as he began 2021 with a Mini win. 2020 was a bit uphill for him but he's certainly started this year well.

    Runner-up neely0y0 won an 854 runner Mini at the start of the Boomlet last March. Just the 582 runners last night, but 2nd was still worth a useful £543.

    @MSDOS 2942000 1 £740.40 + £201.65 Head Prizes 16

    @neely0y0 0 2 £404.13 + £139.48 Head Prizes 12

    £1,000 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,860)

    cabbaz had a splendid 2020, winning 2 UKOPS events, a Sunday Major, a Main, 2 Quickdraws & no less than 4 Sheriffs, making a profit in the year of close to £30,000. At some £445, this Mega win was rather more modest, but it's got him off & running for another fun year.

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£2,500)

    Out of the blue, TheEnigma0 began a remarkable upswing in September, which saw him win a Hitman Main, a Turbo, & now two Sheriffs. Hard to understand how he did that.

    4th placed THETANK was a fine Challenger.

    @TheEnigma0 250000 1 £462.50 + £342.66 Head Prizes 8

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,938)

    Reload makes it's Results Thread debut today. I'm not familiar with it's regular numbers, but I did assume it would be a rebuy-fest. Last night it had 251 entries, 227 rebuys & 168 Add-Ons, so perhaps it not as crazy as I had thought.

    Don't know a deal about the winner except that he's played just 57 MTT's.

    I do at least recognize one name - Jac35 - & I'm only guessing, but it would not surprise me if he was responsible for a goodly % of the rebuys, he's been known to gamble on a Friday night.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£2,220)

    As noted earlier, Super_Oli began proceedings with 2nd in BWBH before getting his win in Turbo.

    The genial & popular ufud was 6th for some £132, just 2 days after scooping over £10,000 for winning the UKOPS Main.

    @Super_Oli 370000 1 £333 + £216.14 Head Prizes 6

    £1,500 Quickdraw (£2,640)

    Yet another win for Jessieak, of whom I know very little except that he's a winning machine.

    rossybee16 is in fine fettle, winning the UKOPS Mini a few nights ago for some £1,400, 6th in this & 4th in Turbo half an hour earlier.

    @Jessieak 322000 1 £488.40 + £383.77 Head Prizes 11

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,560)

    The winner has a very odd alias, anyone got an inkling as to what it might mean? Anyway, he's taken over a year to ply his last 8 MTT's but thanks to this result it all worked out very nicely.

    In 6th was AcidTripss, which may or may not be the highest he's been for a while.

    @Podvivert 234000 1 £226.20 + £91.50 Head Prizes 4

    Haha very good, I'm sure I'm not hallucinating but I've seen him/her on this thread before.
