Who won what, Saturday 2nd January

Morning.

Numbers were very frothy again last night, with 3 of the Top 10 MTT's coming in at around double their Guarantee, & the £8,000 Sharpshooter made £13,440. Exactly one week earlier was Boxing Day, normally one of the busiest nights of the year, but last night's numbers were well in excess of that. It must be very tough to accurately predict online poker numbers at the moment.

7 @ 7 £1,442

£1,000 BH £1,400

£8,000 Sharpshooter Main £13,440

£2,000 Sharpshooter Mini £3,400

£1,000 Mega £1,940

£2,000 Sheriff £3,450

£1,500 Reload £2,487

£1,500 Turbo £2,700

7 @ 7 went to ughx3000cx. When we used to do the Sky Poker TV Shows, aliases like this were a nightmare. How were we supposed to smoothly pronounce names like that, they don't exactly roll off the tongue, do they?

5th was SNAKE57 - one of the better squamates on Sky Poker - leaving 3PUTT_DAVE to tap in for 6th.

THETANK seems to be on track for a good year, 4th in Sheriff the previous night, and the winner here.

Is runner-up blondie505 the real blondie? It's tough to picture this, so all I want is a picture of you.

SPT regular karlluke enjoys this one, 2nd on 22nd December & now 6th.

    £8,000 Sharpshooter (£13,440)

kalin68 began running hot on Xmas Day, running 4th in Mid Ex, since when he's been 4th in Turbo, 3rd in Hitman Main, 2nd in Mega, & now the best of the lot, Sharpy Main winner, collecting a handsome ~£2,160. That run includes final tables for the last 3 consecutive nights. GL for the 4-timer tonight Mr Kalin.

3rd placed BigDane, who won Turbo twice in the autumn, was 3rd for almost £900. I thought he might win this actually, he had a long lead.

4th was Nitrogen, who is on a quite remarkable run, turning £100 into £10,000 in less than 3 months, as you can see

What a great result for kaman113. He's a season ticket holder to the Mini but as far as I can tell he's never managed a win before, in fact I don't think he's even finalled. Great stuff bud, well done.

cowhead enjoyed his best result for a very long time. I seem to recall he's a Sunderland fan - yes, really - so he would have enjoyed seeing the back of nufc2707 in 6th.

Yokerface won this the previous night & made a brave attempt at the double, finishing just shy in 3rd.

Congratulations on the new/old pun book you got for Christmas, @Tikay10.

I don't think I have heard the word Squamate before.

    @dragon1964

Surprised at that, if a dragon were a real thing I'm pretty sure it would be a squamate. Basically, it's scaled reptiles - snakes, lizards, reptiles etc.
