Morning. Friday's seem to come round so quickly.

Yesterday's thread had way above average views, & I've no idea why. Obviously, several players commented on thread, that always helps, but it's pretty rare to get comments on these threads, as they are more "read-only" which I completely get. I know there's a secret ingredient to upping the views, I just don't know what it is.

The featured MTT's were very busy last night, best Thursday for quite some time. Sterling numbers in Hitman Main (almost £11,000), Sheriff (£3,550), ditto Turbo, Quicky & MidEx. There was no televised football, so I guess that helped.

7 @ 7 £1,449

£1,000 BH £1,500

£6,000 Hitman Main £10,830

£2,000 Hitman Mini £2,450

£1,000 Mega £1,640

£2,000 Sheriff £3,550

£1,500 Reload £2,079

£1,500 Turbo £2,520

£1,500 Quicky £2,460

£1,000 Mid Ex £1,760

    Nice surprise here with PKRPar taking 7 @ 7. Had some decent results of late, winning the Xmas Day Mid Ex & running 5th in Sharpy Main on Boxing Day. Bit of a boss on the quiet.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,500)

    High flyer skyflyer keeps churning out results, winning this & then later in the evening just missing the double when 2nd in Turbo. In the last 10 days he's also won Sheriff & Quickdraw.

    Runner-up Mallow39 has just 12 games on his CV, of which 9 were DYM's, so he's presumably nicely in profit on his 3 MTT's.

    @skyflyer 225000 1 £217.50 + £200.57 Head Prizes 11

    £6,000 Hitman Bounty Hunter (£10,830)

    A real rarity here, with GuyL2 winning his 2nd Main Event in just 3 nights. He took Tuesday's Gold Rush for £1,930, then followed up last night with £1,766 for his Hitman heist. It's not unheard of to win 2 Mains in 3 nights, but it's exceedingly rare. Neither the winner nor the runner-up are on Sharky, so I don't have much info on them.

    In 3rd was seikus, making his 4th featured FT of 2021.

    Following his Mega triumph on Wednesday, The Bates was 4th, his 5th FT of the year. Is the sleeping giant awakening?

    £2,000 Mini Hitman (£2,450)

    The Mini went to DONNA, some consolation for coming up one spot shy of the win in Reload a few days ago.

    @DONNA1960 980000 1 £306.25 + £67.46 Head Prizes 11

    @Dragon333 0 6 £54.51 + £32.27 Head Prizes 8

    The winner's alias reminded me of the first ever hit that 10CC had, all of 48 years ago. It featured of course Godley & Creme who both went on to be total bosses.

    The record companies all rejected it until they happened upon a chap by the name of..... Jonathon King, who released it & that was 10CC up & running. King also released the Bay City Rollers stuff, & the first Genesis album, so things worked out rather well for all of them. Except, of course, King himself, for whom things turned out badly. Very badly.

    Back to Donna, it had really weird lyrics which I never understood. Reminds me of @IrishRose

    Oh Donna
    You made me stand up
    You made me sit down, Donna
    Sit down, Donna
    Sit down.
    You made me stand up

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,550)

    So far this year M10Dembele has finished 1st & 2nd in Sheriff, & 1st in Mega, & he took down a Main just before Xmas.

    Crushy had to be content with 2nd for a change.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£2,079)

    I always assumed this was an absolute rebuy-fest, but looking at the numbers that's not the case at all - 261 entries, 254 rebuys & 178 add-ons, an average of less than 1 rebuy per player. That seems fairly placid to me. Though I guess some players really hammer that rebuy button.

    The winner has only recently returned from a 6 month Sky Poker MTT sabbatical & he was clearly too sharp for spearsy in 2nd.

    £1,500 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£2,520)

    Oli - SUPER Oli - won Turbo for the 2nd time in a week, preventing skyflyer from two wins on the night, with Doobsy in third. I'm guessing that three-handed this was all somewhat aggro, these boys don't wait for hands.

    £1,500 Quickdraw (£2,460)

    sjl1973 has enjoyed a cracking upswing in his last 1,000 games, including a lovely Xmas Day Summit win worth nigh on £2,000.

    tai-gar is having a good week too, making his 2nd Quickdraw final in 3 nights, finishing 5th & 4th.

    kalin68 is another running well, winning last Saturday's Sharpy Main & now MidEx.

    I'm indebted to @mushroom1 for another new word - carddeadness.

    In fact we saw several new words on the Forum yesterday, including integredation (copyright @coo1-um ) & best of all deliverer thanks to @Shrimpy28 who is the new @NOSTRI

    I plan to steal all three of them.

    @Glenelg

    Thanks, corrected now.

    I prep the threads elsewhere in a private area of the Forum under the general heading of "Working Thread" & forgot to amend it when I transferred it across.

    @PKRPar

    I'm not very good at finding suitable GIF's, in fact I looked at a few this morning, but I'll persist & see if I can get the hang of them. I always have a smile when I see GIF's but I have no idea how one searches for them.

    @Tikay10. Much more true than you thought. I think Super Oli had AK, I had AQ and skyflyer had AT not long after we had gone 3 way. I can't remember if it was the first hand of 3 way action, but it wasn't far off. There weren't any hands after anyway.

    I just google whatever it is I'm lookimg for. So the one above was "party gif"; then the usual right click copy image url and add the photo in as per on the forum.
