An uninsured and unlicensed driver took his family 350 miles to pick up a kebab despite coronavirus restrictions before crashing on his way home.
The father was travelling with his wife and two children when he crashed on the M5 at Portishead, Bristol.
He told officers he had travelled from Exeter to Coventry to pick up the kebab and was en route home when the incident took place.
He has been fined for offences including driving without a licence or insurance, as well as breaching coronavirus regulations.
