Final Table, bounty and ICM decision, what would you do?

Down to the last 4 of a £10 MTT last night, I am in 2nd place (17BB) and there are two shorter stacks (10BB and 3.5BB), the shortest stack who went all in had been quite aggressive (not that that's relevant with 3.5BB!) and the big stack (63BB) had been quite passive pre. Shorty had a big bounty (£25 ish from memory), big stack just calls.

What would you do here with A2 suited? Fold, flat, raise, shove? Any opinions welcome.

(from memory payouts were something like £54, £73, £95, £150 plus bounties)

I'm all in unless I think it's a trap from Herb.

If Herb were to bust you both, you get third ahead of JJs1927 anyway.

Money weighted up top, (with bounty dynamic 1st probably gets more than twice as much as 2nd).

Yup - short stack range is so wide - herb should be calling wide for the bounty and the knockout. He should fold a large part of his range to your shove and the ace is a good blocker, also I suspect he is more likely to raise decent but not great hands including the weaker aces which is good as it further weakens him here.

He could be trapping with the very top of his range AA-QQ/AK but that happens.

You have decent equity with the ace and like Stay said you are playing for the win.

Personally I fold, once the big stack has called the 3.5bbs our fold equity is greatly reduced, it's one of them spots where our hand is too marginal to go up against the big stack. I think you are better off preserving your stack and sigh fold.

I might of missed it but what was the situation with the BB? Always a chance they wake up with a big hand. The pay jump 4th to 2nd tends to be pretty big, so as you mentioned Enut it's a chunky factor.

@StayOrGo, @neenio, @Nitrogen, @cpfc_2010 and @AMD68 thanks very much for your replies it's much appreciated. I think we got a range of opinions including fold, call and all in, which makes me feel better about not being sure what to do.

I actually had exactly the same thought process as @StayOrGo (which I'm happy about) and went all in. It didn't work out well, which why I thought I'd ask what others would do. I did think I had an edge on the other players (that's pretty rare!) so maybe should have folded in this instance, but then had it worked out differently I wouldn't have doubted the play I made.

As it was the shorty had A8 so had me dominated but more annoyingly the big stack didn't have the weak holding I put him on and actually had 88, he held and I went out in 3rd.

Still onwards and upwards and again thanks for the replies.
