Russell Jones, who is believed to be from London, took to social media to share footage of his pet lurcher imitating his limp as he walked along a residential street. During the footage, the canine raises his paw above the ground and hops next to his owner. The dog continues to keep a watchful eye over Mr Jones as he hops towards his house. Mr Jones later explained that he had paid £300 in vet fees and X-rays for his limping canine - only to discover the dog was copying him out of sympathy.
