I guess the angle of the photo does make the ESB look squat like the MI5 HQ @PKRPar
Surprised no one got the Atomium
Excellent quiz.
Number 8 - ESB - was driving me mad, glad you've put me out of my misery. I would not have got that if I had 10,000 guesses though, it does not look remotely like the ESB to me. Must be a very odd camera angle.
Been to a few of these places and would love to visit the others.
Gave me a few ideas of places to go in 2022 and beyond, all being well
Here's my list of travels, anyone else been to these places?
1) Sydney Opera House (Never been to Australia, on my "to do" list)
2) Rome Colosseum (Seen the outside of it from a bus, not sure if that counts?)
3) London Eye (Yep, just the once, amazing views!)
4) Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur (Stayed in hotel opposite. Amazing walkway at the top)
5) Christ the Redeemer Statue, Rio de Janeiro (Never been to Brazil)
6) Eiffel Tower, Paris (Yes, but 40 years ago)
7) Taj Mahal, Uttar Pradesh (Never Been, Absolutely would LOVE to go there)
8) Empire State Building, New York (Been to New York State, but not New York City)
9) Kremlin & Red Square (point for either), Moscow (Not my first choice of holiday destination, but probably something to see!)
10) Atomium, Brussels (Worked out in Brussels for a few months, but never knew of the Atomium.)
The Kuala Lumper trip was when I was delivering some IT training.
Here's a pic of the group. A mixture of Muslims, Hindhus and Malay cultures. Everyone got on great, was respectful of each other and me, as you can probably tell by the smiles on their faces:
It was an amazing trip, they invited me to their houses, assisted me with souvenir shopping and we had lunch together everyday of the training.
I do miss all the different cultures/nationalities that I used to work with, especially when they were as great as this group were!

@StayOrGo
Lovely photo.
It's a bit blurry because it's a photo of a photo, but I think it captures the essence of the warm heartedness of the participants.
This one below was two Brits, a Dutchman, a guy from Latin America, two Spanish ladies, an Indian and a Frenchman.
We have much more than unites us than divides us, and when working closely with multiple nationalities, that is SO clear.
The people are fine, it's a shame that the "nations" don't always get along as well as the actual individuals do.
There's more that unites us than divides us.
Lets hope for a period of recovery and reconciliation in the world for 2021 and beyond.
I am back left in this one, was over twenty years ago!.
