Who won what, Tuesday 26th January - heddoh at the double, & StayOrGo takes the Main

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,935

Morning.

MTT traffic was brisk again last night, with both Gold Rush Main & Summit making over £10,000. Very rare for two events to make over £10,000 on the same weekday evening, I can't recall it happening since last year's boomlet, except of course during UKOPS. There was decent football on TV last night too. Be nice if it continued, though I think we'd all happily accept prize pools & Guarantees halving if it meant the virus & associated Lockdowns had gone away. For now we just have to make the best of it.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,400

£1,000 BH £1,560

£8,000 Gold Rush £10,200

£2,500 Mini £3,155

£1,500 Mega £1,780

£8,000 Summit £10,400

£1,500 Reload £1,932

£2,000 Turbo £2,760

£2,000 Quicky £2,740

£1,500 MidEx £1,600

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,400)

The sum total of my knowledge of the winner is zero, so apart from "well done" there's not much I can say.

Making his 2nd 7 @ 7 Final in the last 5 days was MacMonster.

In 6th was TTayseer, who played close to 50 DYM's yesterday, mostly at the £11 level. Had two sixth places in MTT's though - this one & the 8pm Gold Rush Main, so his brief foray into MTT-ville turned out rather nicely.

heddoh18, who has more MTT volume than anyone in 2021, took this. Most of his volume is in satellites, even so he's a busy fella, averaging 40 games per day this month.

For a £22 entry £1,000 guarantee event, it sure was a tough FT, with the likes of johnny_e, skyflyer, Granite & nishg all in contention.

What a heads-up scrap this must have been, neither Graham or Eamonn are exactly slow at getting money in the middle. They both do very well for themselves at the poker tables too. Pretty sure they would have met IRL at SPT's. Graham was with us in Punta Cana a few years back, and I seem to recall he cashed in a Sidey.

Mmmchicken is an interesting new face, 5th in Monday's Sheriff & 5th again here. I fancy we may hear a lot more about him.

TTayseer, 6th in the 7 @ 7, occupied the same position here.

    2,500 Mini Gold Rush (£3,155)

coolhanal took the Mini, & the last time he appeared in the ese threads was also for winning a Mini - in September 2019.

This was the only MTT that runner-up XXX9XXX played last night.

In 3rd was Allan23, making his second Mini final of the month. He remains the best MTT player at the £5 level on the site in my opinion.

Note tomgoodun in 7th - he was 4th in Saturday's Mini. Beware the quiet ones who claim they can't play. Well done Tom, hope you & the family are well.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,780)

This completed the quickfire double for heddoh18 - £1,000 BH & Mega. They totted up to over £800 between them, which is handy enough.

Interesting result here, Pommy2021 appears to have just 15 MTT's to his name, the first being 12 days ago. Thanks mainly to sample size his Sharky stats are off the scale.

Froozle (3rd) had a busy session as usual, & this result ensured it was a profitable one.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,932)

Keysasoze6 is something of a blast from the past, his name often came up on the Sky Poker TV shows, & he had two very big results in 2012, one for £3,700, the other £2,400. He seemed to disappear after that though I note he's been around the last few months.

    £2,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£2,760)

This makes 4 Featured MTT's Crushy has won this year - Turbo, £1k BH, Quickdraw, & of course best of all a Sunday Major for some £5,800.

In 3rd was Baboon26. In the last month or so he has now finalled Turbo FIVE times, Main twice, Quicky, Sheriff & £1k BH once each - but still can't book the win. His luck must change soon.

    £2,000 Quickdraw (£2,740)

Just 10 days after winning the Sunday Major, & 24 hours since taking down Sheriff, grinddd was back in the winner's enclosure with a Quicky win. He's currently the most profitable MTT-er on Sky Poker in 2021, just ahead of Crushy in 2nd, though @MattBates who has never been out of the Top 4 in the last 6 years is closing the gap in 193rd.

3rd was biggirl, who won Reload one night last week. He played an absolute shed load of HU Hypers yesterday, scores of them.

    Sharki0 was 2nd, KLLy 5th & scotty77 6th.

The music video I posted yesterday was well-received, so let's try another.

It's another cover version, & one of the most extraordinary examples of guitar playing you'll ever see or hear.

Take the stage Mr Beck, if he was any cooler he'd freeze. I definitely want to be him when I grow up.

Thanks for the mention(s) Mr K, I have hopes of making a few small cashes this month in order to buy in direct to the Spt , a decent final table spot in the Mini would have added a few Bob to the kitty, not to be though .
It was a good tussle with @Allan23 just before the ft, glad he made use of my chips when I “ Lured him” into shoving his K 10cc v my AA on button 😊

Family are as well as can be expected in these difficult times, I’m able go to work, as is my dear daughter who works in the care sector , My good lady has been working from home since last March. Awesome Grandson is ... Awesome.

    Hope you are well., tc

That was pretty sick Tom, you'd set me up perfectly but the fish sometimes get lucky ;)

Hopefully you run better if you play the SPT

    @Pommy2021

    Glad you approve.

I briefly wondered if you were David Pomroy, aka Pommy, who was a character back in the day, but you seem way too civilised.
