I agree with mumsie that 3) is Theo. I think that 10) is Myles.

Here are the answers: (there was perhaps some logic with a few of them – in hindsight!)

    1) Hebrew for Comfort/Rest
    B Noah

    2) Celtic word for Bear
    A Arthur

    3) Greek word for God/Gift
B Theo – as in theology

    4) Anglo Saxon for Free Man
    C Charles

    5) Anglo Saxon for Home Ruler
A Henry – the only one of the 3 choices with links to the monarchy

    6) Old English for Wise Elf
B Alfred – sounds abit like “Elf Read”

    7) Hebrew for God Has Heard
C Samuel – “el” is Hebrew for “God” and is common in the Middle East ie Israel

    8) Hebrew nursery name for Darling
    A David

    9) Hebrew for Favourite Son or Son of the South
    C Benjamin

    10) Latin for Soldier
    A Myles
