Afternoon.
A fairly quiet Tuesday, in fact the Mega missed it's guarantee which is very rare indeed. The rest all covered, with Summit the star turn coming in at £10,600, it's highest figure for some time.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,330)
Banico1959 seems to play 7 @ 7 most nights & got his maiden win last night. His alias has never previously been mentioned on the forum either.
MP33 has been playing this most nights this month, he ran 9th on Monday & 5th last night.

It seems like Chrismags has only been here 5 minutes, & does not put in a ton of volume, but is making quite a name for himself. In addition to 4th in a Sunday Major, he's already taken down BWBH, Quicky, Turbo, & now the £1k BH.

It troubles me slightly, though I'm unsure why, that Main Event winner chrisdonkb is young enough to be my son. Even so, I'm delighted for him, he's an absolutely lovely young man as anyone who has met him will know.
2nd was MRBLEWPIE, who collected some £4,500 when 5th in SPT Online last week.

The Mini went to Matthugg, for his best result to date.
Much excitement elsewhere though as MRBLEWPIE was in the running for the Final Table Jackpot. He was 2nd in the Main & 3rd here, so picked up a £750 bonus. So that's £1,000 for 2nd in the Main, £150 for 3rd in the Mini, a £750 FTJ bonus, then add in the £4,500 he picked up in the SPT, I reckon he's got more money than Jeff Lynne.
tomgoodun, was a very fine 4th, but he had not finished yet.

Well how about this?- not content with 4th in the Mini, tomgoodun took down the Mega. If this is not the most popular result of the night I'll be amazed. Well done Tom, could not be more pleased with you. For those who have not met Tom, there's a photo of him below.

£8,000 Summit Bounty Hunter (£10,600)
Summit went to Melty, who reasonably lays claim to being one of the best MTTers on the site. There's an odd thing in poker that good players invariably get some negativity pointed at them, but he's an exception, he seems to be well-respected by almost everyone. This was his 2nd £100 MTT win of the year, as he already had a BWBH to his credit. Dog Bloke was 2nd, & it was really informative to watch him & Melty play Heads Up. If you want to do better at poker, you can do a lot worse than watch the play of guys like Melty.
Away from those who made the Final, it was disappointing to see some of the abusive table chat. It's unique to poker amongst competitive games that it seems normal to publicly abuse others for making (perceived) bad plays, & makes no sense at all. IMO, obv.

£2,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£2,220)
Mean Machine seems to have been relatively quiet this year, but that's partly down to his volume being less than usual. Surprisingly, this was his 3rd best result of 2021 (on Sky Poker, I'm sure he's getting plenty elsewhere). In 2021 he's won an Avenger Main in January, a Mega & a MidEx, so I guess he's not going to starve any time soon.

Seems my new strategy is paying dividends, for those that would like to know the secret of my “success “ check out ‘Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency’ on Netflix ( Other subscription services are available)
Watch whist playing, it takes your mind off any peculiar happenings on the felt, as nothing I’ve seen this year is as peculiar ( and riveting ) as this 😊
@Allan23
Wow, I must have listened & watched that track thousands of times & I never knew that.
@Allan23
Exactly what I always assumed.
@GuyL2 and I have agreed we can and should actively slowroll each other when the opportunity presents itself. We both find this amusing.
As a result Guy timebank shoved KK versus my 4 bet TT in the £33 which was all fun and games until I typed "TEN ON THE FLOP" and did indeed flop the set. I sincerely apologise for my actions. It is confirmed that I am a lucky ****.
If it's any consolation I spewed the stack shortly after.
