1: Minnie the Minx (confirmed) 2: Matchstick Men & Cats & Dogs (backing choir) L.S.Lowry 3: Tottenham 4: ABBA - all the rest have appeared on lists of Worst uk No.1 singles 5: v - letters following vowels
Very well done.
2. Correct 3. Correct-in 1901 they were in the Southern League 4. Not the answer I am looking for 5. Correct. If someone says "A,E,I,O...?" It is easy. For some reason, we never say it the way I set the question
So-Number 4 left. Clue:-the others have all achieved something positive that Abba have never done

obviously I know no.3 is Spurs and still the ONLY Non-league team to win the FA Cup (1901 whilst in the Southern League). 5) I will guess ABBA is the odd one out as they have not appeared at the Royal Variety Show?

The only 1 in the 20th Century. A record that we both hope will pass to Arsenal soon

Just remember that when Tottenham beat us in that semi-final in 1991 and went on to win the cup they haven't won it since... And have had to watch us win it 9 times... 30 years and counting... Here's a bit of nostalgia for you...
How I knew the Spurs answer. 1978 out and about in London, went in to watch Chelsea (2nd half), **** game, one guy was a spurs fan, told me how they were only non-league team to win FA cup. Strangely that same day, via radio, Spurs score v Liverpool was the hot topic. Spurs guy took some serious stick as the goals totted-up, 7-0.

Abba have never had a number 1, which seems doubtful?
Bob the builder 4
Peter Andre 4
Tellie tubbies 4
Abba 2
Bob the builder fixed it.
Peter Andre fixed that Katie woman.
TellyTubbies fixed tellytubby land.
ABBA famously never fixed anything.

Top quiz Phil, thanks.
If you & @QUICKFEET could manage one apiece per week it'd be really appreciated.

Well it's not a hanging offence, but yes, should be The Rail.
Most Forum Users press the "DISCUSSION" link at the top of the Forum anyway, so that means stuff from the Rail still appears at the top of the page.
You are not alone.
It's VERY useful.
