just read on the yahoo news website that some one gets told that drinking there own urine is the cure for Covid so the family spent 4 days drinking there own urine before stopping as they did not trust Bill Gates ... just a quick ? how many of you would do the same if your told the above ....

Not from the diving board they don't.
Eg if some tabloid article says that eating tomatoes may increase resistance to covid then I will likely try eating tomatoes as its not much of a sacrifice and i Like tomatoes.
for me to consider drinking my own urine I would need very strong evidence/reason to believe this would help fight covid and also I would need to believe their was very significant risk to my health from covid
currently I believe their is a small risk of getting very badly affected by covid but it is a small risk which leads me to self isolate as much as reasonably possible and take precautions such as gloves and a mask whenever I shop for food.
The real difficulty is that very few people in society are qualified to verify evidence and look at such sources with a qualified mind.
The best I can do is trust authoritative sources eg peer reviewed scientific articles backed up by multiple different sources, rather then tabloid here say.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if they also believed the earth was flat, was created in 7 days and well can't say any more for fear the pc mob starts screaming at me.
