I would assume rightly or wrongly that actually it had been lots of things accumulating over time and this was just one of many things and the final straw. Does that justify murder? absolutely not but I would hope there would be more provocation then just something small like this.
upon reading the article it appears though that they had happy relationship she just felt entitled to murder him over an ipad charger. The fact this was her fourth husband shows she might not be the best in relationships.
Multiple divorces normally indicates they are at fault for relationship breakdowns.
