Who won what, Friday 19th February

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,915

Morning,

Another fabulous Friday for MTT numbers, with BWBH making £13,000, Avenger Main £14,980, & everything else doing well. With Spring coming, & Lockdown due to be eased soon, it's unlikely we'll ever see numbers like these again for the foreseeable future so enjoy these good times whilst you can. Having said that of course I'm sure most rational thinking players would prefer to see COVID banished even if it means reduced poker traffic.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,393

£8,000 BWBH £13,000

£10,000 Avenger £14,980

£5,000 Mini £6,750

£1,500 Mega £1,900

£2,500 Sheriff £3,500

£1,500 Reload £2,103

£2,000 Turbo £2,550

£2,000 Quicky £2,780

£1,500 MidEx £2,320

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,393)

    7 @ 7 went to splashies, who ran 6th in the Main the previous evening. He's like a machine, rarely does anything spectacular but just keeps making solid profits. He's been here at least 13 years and I don't think he's ever had a losing year, so that puts him in a fairly exclusive club.

    £8,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£13,000)

    M10Dembele took BWBH. He has a remarkable record here. In less than 600 MTT's, he's now won no less than 4 £110 buy-in events. The first prizes in those 4 events were £6,200, £5,000, & £2,300 twice. On Sky Poker, that's proper money by any standards.

    Notice karlluke in 4th place. I assume she satellited in, as I doubt she normally buys into £110 jobbies. £850 won't be her biggest result, but it won't be far off it, and make no mistake, this was a tough FT. Well done Tina.

    £10,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£14,980)

    Avenger went to fishhhhh & he's another who does extremely well in big events. In 2021 already he's run 6th in SPT Online for £4,500, won BWBH a month ago for £2,800, & now £3,000 for taking down Avenger.

    Runner-up MrKey won a Sharpy Main a few weeks ago for over £2,000.

    In 6th was Dog Bloke, who took down Wednesday's Sheriff.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,900)

    It's hard to realise that as recently as December Shrimpy was doing really well, in the space of 5 days he won MidEx twice (on consecutive nights) & a 542 runner Mini. He fell from grace in January, probably lack of application, then 2 days ago he ran 5th in a Main after something of a car crash final. So he appointed £2 MTT specialist @NOSTRI to be his Mind Coach & BOOM he promptly took down Mega. He's a cheerful soul, as are most splendidly plump people, so I'm really pleased for him.

    We've not seen much of gaming123 this year, less than 30 MTT's, & this was his best result of 2021.

    Palace Bloke continues to run well & was 2nd here exactly a week after winning Avenger Main. He's another very amiable member of Team Chubby.

    StayOrGo was 3rd, less than 24 hours after taking down MidEx.

    £2,000 Quickdraw (£2,780)

    Crushy took Quickdraw, & I was surprised to see it's only his 2nd win this month, the previous one being a Mega, which is quite an easy one to win.

    £1,500 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£2,320)

    The Bates revival continues & he booked MidEx to end the session.

    wynne1938 was 4th.

    Toffeeandy will have been pleased to get 5th, especially as Everton are likely to get hammered by Klopp's Liverpool today.

    I noticed @Duesenberg & @PKRPar in 8th & 9th which rather suggests it was a weak renewal.

    Hon Mentions;

    For winning BWBH;

    @M10Dembele

    After putting in so much work on his game, endlessly reviewing HH's for hours on end he got his reward with a Mega win.

    @Shrimpy28

    POTD

    Easy choice today, after taking down a big Avenger Main;

    Thanks tikay you’re right satellited in. Was a tough game I was last all the way from 18 left. Then a few good hands got me through to fourth.
