Morning.

Decent traffic, even though it was the quietest Saturday of 2021. For some odd reason Reload did the opposite, it was the third busiest Reload this year.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,162)

    MAGPIETYKE is in his 13th year here & has been steadily profitable throughout. Doubt he's had many nights like this though, winning 7 @ 7 & then finishing 2nd in the Mini. He's now stood on all three of the top podium steps of the 7 @ 7 this year as well as running 2nd in Mini twice. Add in a MidEx victory & he's having perhaps his best year ever. He ended 2020 on a high too, with a Sheriff triumph. Well done Karl.

    Just 2 days after winning POTD for making 4 FT's including a win DUTCHESS62 was back in the winners enclosure.

    karlluke is on a 7.30pm roll too, she was 4th in the much tougher BWBH only 24 hours earlier after getting in via the satellite route.

    £3,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£3,490)

    blacksnow celebrated 10 years of Sky Poker MTT's with his biggest ever win, nice one Mr Snow. He's a season-ticket holder in both the Mini & Reload & has made plenty of FT's in both. He also won a MIdEx earlier this year.

    Runner-up was MAGPIETYKE, who we discussed earlier, with Donald in 5th.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,880)

    A most interesting result here, as the curiously named TwinTilyTu took the Mega. Sharky revealed nothing, the account is locked, but a search of the Sky Poker Forum did reveal an utterly fascinating thread from 3 or 4 years ago;

    TwinTilyTu thread

    3rd was RoilFlush who I fancy may be more of a cash game player though he did win Turbo exactly a month ago.

    £2,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,150)

    The Bates was running 15 minutes late yesterday, he usually does well in the 8.45pm Mega but he was all behind last night & won the 9pm Sheriff instead. It was his biggest cash of 2021, but he's not been totally dry in 2021 - he's won Mega 4 times, as well as a Reload & a MidEx, though worth noting 4 of those were in the last week. The worm is turning. Incidentally, he won Sheriff no less than 16 (SIXTEEN) times last year. Jeez. Most of us would give an arm to have won 7 MTT's before the end of February. An odd stat - to me anyway - is that The Bates has not played the Sunday Major at all this year, although he plays the £110 BWBH most weeks. I reckon he ought to play the rush, satellite into tonight's Major & then go win it.

    In 5th was fishhhhh, who won Avenger Main on Friday night for almost £3,000.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£2,358)

    Alf13 won Reload, his first success since taking down the £1k BH in November. I thought he was going to final table the Mega last night too but the wheels came off in 10th.

    In 4th was FeNdeR36 who won a 607 runner Mini Avenger a few weeks ago. Previously, "Guitar Bloke" has been the nick for ex-Twitcher @Duesenberg, but I think we'll transfer it to Fender, as they make better guitars, & he's a much nicer chap in every way - talented, modest & erudite with a fine head of hair, and a tidy player, none of which can reasonably be said of @Duesenberg. No disrespect intended, obv.

    Hon Mention;

    I think we all want to see this man restored to his former glory & a Sheriff win last night confirmed he's going the right way;

    @MattBates

    For two terrific results on the night;

    @MAGPIETYKE

    POTD

    Difficult to imagine anyone will begrudge last night's Main Event winner today's POTD;

    @Arrogant

    As we have a few guitar players on here I thought we'd take a look & listen to a quite extraordinary street busker today.

    He's got a day job but he's doing alright.
