Who won what, Tuesday 23rd February

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 171,915

Morning.

MTT traffic was about normal for a Tuesday, though up a little w-o-w.

The big news overnight of course was Tiger Woods having a bad car accident, resulting in multiple compound fractures to his legs & a fractured ankle. He's 45 years old, so I think it's safe to say we won't be seeing him on the PGA Tour again, except perhaps for occasional guest appearances. Very sad, he's the greatest golfer that ever lived & it's been an absolute privilege to watch him these last 25 years.

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,386)

gamblegirl will be hoping February lasts forever. It began with 2nd in the Mini, followed the very next night by winning the Main, & now 7 @ 7 is added to the list.

Fishyworm has been running well of late & made no less than three finals last night - 4th in 7 @ 7, 5th in the £1k BH and 4th in Reload. That's a solid sesh.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter (£1,240)

cabbaz has been quiet of late but bounced back with the win here & followed up with 3rd in the Turbo. He won Sheriff twice in 3 nights last month so is one to be wary of when he's hitting flops.

Runner-up Squirrel15 usually plays 7 @ 7 but swerved it last night whilst busy finishing 2nd in a 5pm BH, so two x 2nd places in the space of a few hours.

Not much info in the domain about jessieak as he's blocked on Sharky, but we know he's useful, & this was at least his third win this year - Quicky, Reload & now the Main.

Runner-up heddoh18 has won both Sheriff & Quicky in the last 10 days.

    £2,500 Mini Gold Rush (£2,710)

chewyman only plays the Mini & he's a real specialist, this is the third time he's won it in 4 months, & the 2nd time he's taken down Gold Rush Mini.

    The real story here is the runner-up, babyluke10. He's started four threads recently, as follows;

howdoes sky allow big stacks to win all the time check stat over time

THERE IS ABAD BEAT BUT IF IKEEEP LOSEING MY LAWYER FRIENND WILL SUE SKY FOR HERLPING BIG STACKS DON

why is sky not as good as black belt poker as channing

gamblers win again always the same they call you on noughting and you have an high pair its a joke

There's nothing like a good result to change a mindset & I'm confident he'll be on the Forum today to say all is forgiven.

On a side note - related, obv - I've always been curious about those who think this site is rigged but still play here. There must be scores - hundreds maybe - of accessible poker sites available. Why play on one you don't trust? One of the great mysteries of poker.

Anyway, well done babyluke, & I hope you have plenty more nice binks.

Earlier this month OBO1234 was 2nd in Mega, beaten only by The Bates, but he turned the tables big time last night, booking the win & leaving The Bates trailing in 5th place.

How about this for a tough table? Don't really know where to begin with this one. Surely there's rarely been a tougher Final here?

Well done to them all, especially top runner-up rankers, who was batting way above his average.

    £1,500 Reload Rebuy B/Hunter (£1,863)

AlexaAJ is a NKOTB but seems to be a real livewire. Won the £6k BH on Sunday for £1,750, added Reload here, & went on to be third in Quickdraw.

Slight detour here as I want to give a shout out to a new member of our Community, @bossquaid. On Sunday he won a 120 runner BH at midday, then 10 hours later ran 3rd of 263 in Reload. Good work Boss, & I hope there are plenty more good results along the road. If you read this, pop in & say hi.

    Word Up.

There must be scores of versions of this, but Cameo surely did it best? Got to love that bright red cod piece too.
