Morning.

Some of you may recall that MTT numbers in the middle of the week - Wednesday in particular - were disappointing. Well last night more than made up for it with banging numbers right across the board. In particular, the £8,000 BWBH made £13,900, & the £10,000 Avenger Main added up to £16,200.

Happy days.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,554

£8,000 BWBH £13,900

£10,000 Avenger Main £16,200

£5,000 Mini £6,930

£1,500 Mega £2,180

£2,500 Sheriff £3,600

£1,500 Reload £1,989

£2,000 Turbo £2,880

£2,000 Quicky £3,060

£1,500 MidEx £2,160

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,554)

    For the nerds amongst us - probably just me - it was satisfying to see the symmetry of the numbers in this last night. The £7 + £0.70 7 @ 7 with a £700 Guarantee had a prize pool of £777 & a Heads Prize Pool of £777.

    A decent session for 23blackeye, 5th in a little BH in the afternoon before scooping the 7 @ 7.

    @23blackeye 444000 1 £208.70 + £131.38 Head Prizes 18

    @AVFC1982 0 2 £124.55 + £18.95 Head Prizes 3

    @squeak13 0 3 £74.28 + £33.76 Head Prizes 7

    @supercrazy 0 4 £58.43 + £13.99 Head Prizes 4

    @ForeSight 0 5 £49.73 + £28.38 Head Prizes 8

    £8,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£13,900)

    BBORU7 took this. A sample size of 1,200 is meaningless, but even so a ROI approaching 50% looks pretty handy to me, & this was not the first £100-er he has won, he bagged a Summit last year. In all he has 6 four figure cashes.

    Runner-up PBKR enjoyed his best cash of 2021, almost double what he got for 5th in Sunday Major at the end of January.

    @BBORU7 695000 1 £1942.53 + £809.32 Head Prizes 6

    @PBKR 0 2 £1184.97 + £657.40 Head Prizes 10

    @ylber 0 3 £729.75 + £589.44 Head Prizes 8

    @sadierose 0 4 £587.27 + £464.07 Head Prizes 9

    @RCord 0 5 £500.40 + £274.22 Head Prizes 5

    £10,000 Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£16,200)

    We don't see nearly enough of ItsOver4U as I think he spends a lot of time on the bigger sites, but he does just fine when he's here. This was a rare double too - he's now won both Avenger Main and Avenger Mini in 2021. Doubt many will do that this year.

    Some final it was too, with heavy hitters such as Sharki0, The Codfather, StayOrGo present & correct as well as one of the oldest players on the site, glencoelad.

    @Itsover4u 1882000 1 £2045.25 + £456.70 Head Prizes 8

    £5,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£6,930)

    Close to £1,000 for a Mini is pretty outstanding & it was Andyba who came out on top, for his first significant win since he took down a Turbo last July.

    AKAscotty & zzgoose both just missed the Final. Even so, they earned decent money, though of course we don't know how many times they zapped the Rebuy button. The line for AKAscotty is 10, & I'm on the overs.

    @Andyba 3370000 1 £831.60 + £144.71 Head Prizes 8

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£2,180)

    Back in December SzaryPolak won a £6k BH & Sharpshooter Main on successive nights, & this was their beat result since.

    In 5th was @ciaraemm13 & when he last cashed I mused how that alias arose. By chance I happened to look at my "wall" yesterday & I see he replied that the alias comes from his daughter's names, Ciara & Emma. I'm not so good with names, but I fancy "Ciara" is pronounced with a hard C, as in K, & is probably Irish?

    @SzaryPolak 1090000 1 £304.65 + £244.37 Head Prizes 12

    £20 Gtd Omaha FR (210 entries)

    A bonus MTT today, to celebrate Shrimpy's biggest cash of the year. It's all very well mocking, but when the HU is for over £2 the pressure is immense.

    @Aleco 475000 1 £5.37

    @Shrimpy28 0 2 £3.21

    Bit weird that Friday should be so much busier than Wednesday and Thursday this week Tikay. Obviously Friday has a £100 buy-in tournament and that probably has a knock on to the other £30 and £50 buy-ins but that doesn't seem to be enough of a reason as you were talking about numbers week on week. Clearly lots of people are still going out to work during the pandemic and Friday does still mean "the weekend starts here" but was it just a weather thing? Wednesday and Thursday was really much milder than it has been for weeks and possibly people went for a run or a walk or popped out to the supermarket but last night, (in London at least), it got really cold and frosty again.

    Always a bit of a mystery. Would be interesting, (to saddos like me), to track overlays to temperature.

    @NChanning

    On reflection, I think it was related to "payday" week.

    I do find these things fascinating, & I'm glad I'm not quiet alone in that.

    @NChanning

    It would also explain the thin numbers midweek.

    I imagine you got used to that sort of thing in the Black Belt days?
