In a heart-stopping moment, the two-year-old girl loses her grip and plunges to the ground from the high-rise building in Hanoi, Vietnam - but Nguyen Ngoc Manh was able to reach for the girl, who fell onto his lap. The 31-year-old delivery driver had been sitting in his truck waiting to deliver a package in Hanoi on Sunday when he saw the toddler hanging off the high-rise building and clinging onto the edge with one hand. The father-of one reacted instinctively and raced out of his car and climbed onto a tile roof at the bottom level of the building to get into a better position to be able to catch the girl. But the roof was crooked and as Manh stood on it, he lost his footing - and at the same time the toddler suddenly lost her grip and began falling. Manh flung himself forward to catch her and somehow she landed perfectly on his lap, the impact leaving a dent in the roof.
