    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,176)

    neenio is enjoying a really good spell of form, he took last night's 7 @ 7 just 48 hours after winning the £1k BH @ 7.30, & he ran third in that last night too. In March alone, in addition to those two wins, he's had a 2nd in MidEx, and third place finishes in Main, Reload & 7.30 BH. Sizzling.

    The Bates is really gathering some momentum now, he won Tuesday's Mega, was 6th in last night's Mega, & had another win early this morning. Good to see.

    68Trebor had a fine 2nd too. It came exactly a week after he won Turbo and finished 5th in the Mini on the same night.

    Ex DYM specialist Jac35 got in on the act too, with a 4th, despite - in all probability - toothache, headache, and a bad knee. He needs the cash too, it's almost time he changed his car again, the current one is over a month old.

    Quite a sporting theme to the Final too - The Bates is a big cricket fan, 68Trebor is an Aston Villa nutter, & Jac35 of course supports Wayne Rooney's Derby County.

    On a slightly less flippant note, a chap came on the Forum last night & made his first ever Forum Post as follows;

    "1 day it will turn out its all rigged and hope they get jailed for it. In mean time ask them for a job u will win 90% of yr 50-50s like mat bates"

    I mean, what can you say to people who think like that? Our first reaction is to laugh, but these people genuinely believe stuff like this. It's like folks who believe in Aliens & UFO's or think COVID is a hoax, you can't reason with them.

    @MattBates 195000 1 £195 + £74.04 Head Prizes 3

    @68Trebor 0 2 £130 + £83.38 Head Prizes 6

    Impressive bink by AKAscotty, 6th when the final started but eventually got there, with the final hand AIP, QQ v A-J, with the Queens holding. What a lovely time to get Queens. He seems to have a big bink every 18 months or so, & this was his 4th big score.

    catman was 2nd with @StayOrGo, who looked all over the winner for most of the Final in 3rd after a mistimed shove.

    Fair play to catman1234, the runner-up, who played way above all previous known form. Anyone remember the fella in poker who went by the name of Catman? He had a Russian girlfriend too, she was CatGirl. Oh my, I could tell you some tales about those two.

    @AKAscotty 1300000 1 £1101.26 + £217.86 Head Prizes 6

    @catman1234 0 2 £657.23 + £212.43 Head Prizes 6

    @StayOrGo 0 3 £391.96 + £153.74 Head Prizes 8

    @elvisg1972 0 4 £308.32 + £95.98 Head Prizes 5

    @Dave488 0 6 £219.76 + £107.70 Head Prizes 5

    AKAscotty, 6th of 6 when the Final started, reminded me of another "last-to-first" affair, this time in Horse Racing. How on earth did Lester Piggott get The Minstrel in front on the line here? He proper mugged poor old Willie Carson. A great sporting memory, & the horse racing equivalent of last night's win by Scott.

    £2,000 Mini Predator (£2,110)

    IrishRose has been in sparkling form lately, including back to back Sheriff wins, & she so nearly added the Mini last night, only to be thwarted by Emzipie. In Live poker, Rose is known for her routine where she stands up when she is all-in. If you are nice to her, she might tell you the online version she does, it's incred. Oh, & she'll say she got lucky last night.

    Emzi has not enjoyed too many big wins & his graph looks a proper treat this morning.

    A word on Danyo0, 3rd here & 31st in the Main. He was going along nicely in the Main before one of those really weird beats went off. He had 5-5 v villain's 6-6 & flopped his set, but both players ended with a 4 flush so the sixes got the lot. Oddly, Sixes Bloke had a straight too iirc. Big pot too, close to 60,000. But for that he was looking a lock to get a chunk of Final Table Jackpot money.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,720)

    Mega went to Makaka.

    The Bates was set for his 2nd win of the night but he got ctbn'd. Gotta love ctbn, one of the most fun players you could ever wish to share a table, but he does the deadpan thing & many people don't get him. Goes without saying, he's hopeless at the pokers.

    IAmAll_En completed a March hat-trick last night - Sheriff, Quicky & Mega. He's begun to make a few forum posts this week & they've been very enjoyable & humorous, so I'm very much hoping he hangs with us, we do need some fresh forum blood, & he's definitely not in Team Tin Hat.

    £1,500 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,500)

    Lmfaoallin has already had two small wins this month & completed his hat trick here. He's run 4th in the Main twice in 2021 too, so for a player of what one might politely say distinctly modest ability he's doing pretty well. He's actually a keen darts player and at an SPT I once saw him throw a 537 dart finish.

    His win denied hendrt1 a 2nd MixEx win in 24 hours., He won Saturday's Reload too. Quite a remarkable upturn for him as he's played some 8,500 games without ever winning too many - if any - featured MTT's.

    We are long overdue Eric Clapton & a live rendition of Layla. Lovely intro, too. Pork Pie Hat bloke on the keyboards is the wonderfully gifted Paul Carrack who many remember from Mike & The Mechanics.

    @Tikay10
    A million years ago, when God was a boy, I was sitting in a country pub in Shropshire. It was in such a remote location that there was barely a house much less a town anywhere near. The size of the pub 'lounge' was hardly bigger than most modest domestic bathrooms.

    Around mid evening a group of people walked in, almost doubling the numbers in the pub, all male plus one female. They carried a guitar or two. They ordered their drinks and with the pub now at bursting point with around ten/twelve customers, started playing and singing.

    Yes it was Eric Clapton and his band members with Pattie Boyd and we were treated to his new song 'Wonderful Tonight' prior to release! They then continued to play several other 'tunes' before finishing their drinks leaving the pub as quietly as they had arrived. This had not been arranged by the landlord, it was simply Eric, his band members and his new lady who had been staying nearby fancying drink and a sing song!
