Hi all.
Would like to ask this of all the regular players of the £100 Sunday Major, of which I had a chance to play in a few months ago through a sat. Im sure I made the best decision but would like to find out.
It was hand 2 or 3 and I was dealt QQ from mid position and I 3x. A then unknown player just put his whole 10,000 stack in and it folded around to me.
What is the best play?

Against JJ+ and AK you are a slight dog, if you add TT you are a slight favourite. The very occasional lunatic does this with worse or shows total air but a lot more do it with JJ+ because they don't want to play them post flop - or they have deep pockets and are looking for an early double and don't mind rebuying.
So do you want to flip? If you think you can beat the field then you want your skill to have a chance to produce an edge you could fold here though a call and a double starting stack early is a big factor. I think it's close.
If flipping for chance of double starting stack is great value for how you perceive your skill against the field then it's a call.
I think I fold assuming no info. It's a fairly deep structure, there will be better spots on average.
(shallower structure - snapcall fistpump)
I folded because with 150+ BB I will have better spots and he was unknown to me. I don't think doubling up this early in a deep structure is that much of an advantage as it would be deeper in.
I found out that this guy all in a lot with very weak hands. I did manage to double through him later on with this added information and I did play vey well, sadly busting around 10 seats from the money with a very bad beat.
