Who won what, Friday 12th March

Morning.

It's been a tough week but numbers bounced back a treat last night, & were similar or slightly improved w-o-w. BWBH, Avenger Main & Avenger Mini collectively came in at around £33,000 which is a lumpy number by Sky Poker standards. Everything covered guarantee too, even Turbo & Quickdraw which have missed the last 4 or 5 nights. With Easter UKOPS set to be unveiled very shortly, let's just hope the wind continues to blow favourably.

Good news for micro stake MTT players too, @NOSTRI - I won't have a word said against him - announced yesterday that MML Version 2 resumes on Monday, initially for a one week trial, thereafter for another series.

£700 7 @ 7 £1,456

£8,000 BWBH £11,400

£10,000 Avenger £14,840

£5,000 Mini £6,735

£1,500 Mega £1.760

£2,500 Sheriff £3,250

£1,500 Reload £2,088

£2,000 Turbo £2,760

£2,000 Quicky £2,300

£1,500 MidEx £2,060

    7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,456)

    Needham is a 7 @ 7 season ticket holder, but his only cash of note was 5th in Mega a month ago today. Nice result Needham, well done.

    I could not be more pleased for runner-up daveydavey (unless he won it, obv). He's keen to improve his game & has been on the Forum seeking advice, & has received loads of help from numerous players & has taken it all on board. Great to see, & this was not the only such example we saw last night as we shall later see.

    £8,000 Big Weekend Bounty Hunter (£11,400)

    A fabulous result for the popular PBKR, and the whole thing was streamed too. His graph has gone vertical the last month. Only 3 weeks ago he was 2nd in this for £1,800, then 5 days ago he won Sunday Major for £4,400, now he gets his BWBH win for ~£2,400. That's close o £9,000 with those three results alone. Terrific stuff Phil.

    2nd was MRBLEWPIE, who seems to be equally at home in Cash or MTT's, NLH or PLO.

    pacman821 (3rd) does so well in £100 MTT's here. He won Sunday Major for £5,200 a fortnight ago, was 2nd in Summit earlier this week & 3rd here. He won Marksman Main twice in short order last Autumn too. No wonder he's so popular with the boys.

    @PBKR 570000 1 £1624.50 + £781.97 Head Prizes 8

    £5,000 Mini Avenger Rebuy B/Hunter (£6,735)

    If you plan to win a Mini, Friday night is the time to do it, it has easily the biggest Mini prize pool of the week. It was the turn of Ninja001 to get the lot this week, with CuzzyBait 2nd & torres215 third.

    Earlier I wrote about @daveydavey, who is trying so hard to improve his game. Well here's another example, IVIystical (why is that alias SO hard to type?) running 4th. This was the 2nd time he's been 4th in a Mini in less than a month, he also ran 4th in a Mega. He's like a sponge, soaking up good advice & takes constructive criticism very well. Lovely chap too, as it happens, & a bit of an IT whizz.

    @Ninja001 3258000 1 £808.20 + £212.55 Head Prizes 17

    @CuzzyBait 0 2 £441.14 + £91.16 Head Prizes 12

    @torres215 0 3 £260.98 + £30.22 Head Prizes 4

    @IVIystical 0 4 £207.10 + £15.24 Head Prizes 2

    @RobRenzi 0 5 £171.74 + £64.17 Head Prizes 6

    @Acer640 0 6 £138.07 + £57.30 Head Prizes 6

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,760)

    This was an amazing result, the winner had one of those nights we all dream of & he absolutely crushed this. With 6 left I think he had more than everyone else combined, or nearly so.

    lukeyland9, who won this in late February, so nearly did so again.

    In 7th was Danyo0, who has been doing so well in Mains & Mini recently. Not content with 7th, at 0200 this morning he then registered for a 474 runner $40 Bounty Builder over on 'Stars, & spent until 0930 this morning battling away, eventually finishing 3rd for around $900. Bravo.

    £2,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,250)

    Playing his first MTT since mid January, markye took Sheriff.

    2nd was the highly talented destinycod, running into form before UKOPS, in which I'm backing him to do really well.

    For the 2nd straight night, Mr Channing had a third - Turbo on Thursday, Sheriff last night. I can absolutely guarantee we won't see him tonight though, as it's the Betting Emporium Annual Cheltenham Preview. Hope it goes well Mr C.

    Monty15 took Turbo, adding it to two Quickdraws & a £1k BH he's won in the last month. An hour later he completed a double by winning a £1,000 BH.

    £2,000 Quickdraw (£2,300)

    Despite not putting in much volume here, the 93 rated winner has an unusual claim to fame, he's won three different £110 entry MTT's on Sky Poker - BWBH, UKOPS 18 & Summit. In total, he's had 10 cashes of £1,000 or more in the last three years. Not many can boast that, surely?

    its my best score on sky so far. I have had bigger scores on other sites but my biggest on sky. @gitmen played very well on the final table so wanted to say well done to him to. I knew this had to happen eventually as I kept having late runs in tournies that did not come to fruition. I am sure more will follow. had been running bad recently but last night having a £450 upswing ended the run bad so was a good night.

    I have actually done the rather naughty thing of sitting in on a Zoom call and playing online poker at the same time without the people realising. Not tonight though Tikay as you say. Will probably play Sunday but might have to leave it until after Cheltenham then.

    If anyone is wondering what I am backing and doesn't want to pay for the Betting Emporium tips I did a preview the other night with Rishi Persad and Barry Gerraghty and that was a lot of fun. I've Tweeted a link a few times.

    Normally we have about 40 guests come to the Betting Emporium preview at a lovely restaurant in Hatton Garden. Tonight we found a chef that delivers. The guy isn't totally set up for the full cook from home service and I think him and his mate drove round delivering the food yesterday. One guy is in Devon and one in Yorkshire so it took them a while!

    Thanks @Tikay10 . I'm not sure what volume i'll play when restrictions are over, but recently, and while I am playing, I figured after 10 years of winging it I might as well try and learn how to play properly.

    @Needham cleared everyone at the 7@7 final table, I think, so fair play.

    Also I jumped on @PBKR 's stream for a bit but was my first time watching twitch, so don't think I could comment . I enjoyed it though, had (some!) decent tunes on and was good craic! Cheers for doing it & well done.

    Thanks for the kind words @Tikay10. I read the message to Paula & she was very touched :) She's not felt like playing at all recently but she'll maybe be back in a few weeks.
