Afternoon.
First up, I'm sure we have a few readers from The Emerald Isle, so a happy St Patrick's Day to you. Normally on this day, tens of thousands of happy Irish people would descend on Cheltenham, but thanks to COVID, that can't happen this year.
As an aside, when I googled a St Patrick's Day image (see first image below) I happened upon several which were missing the apostrophe (second image). This annoyed me more than it should, & I'll be chuntering away to myself all day. Sharing it with you seems to help somehow. It does not stop me getting cross about it, but sharing does help.
In a way, it's like poker players who bang on endlessly about bad beats, or how bad everyone else is. I'd like a £1 for every time some buffoon has said to me
"and guess what he called me with?", or, even worse,
so the flop came..." I've spent over 20 years avoiding these people - or trying to. Moaning about bad beats is something we do for the first 3 days of our poker "career", after that it's inexcusable, & it hacks me off immeasurably. And yet I'm no different when I see really poor grammar - despite the fact I'm guilty of it daily. Maybe I need to be more understanding of Team "I'm So Unlucky" in future. So today I resolve not to be cross with them. For a whole day.
So, on to the poker. Not the best Tuesday we've ever had, but not terrible by any means. I did not notice until this morning that two of the late night guarantees have been reduced. (Turbo & MidEx), but regular readers won't be surprised by that, it's been well signalled for weeks now.

7 at 7 Bounty Hunter (£1,372)
MaloD had a strange but very successful day. He began at 0945 by winning a £100 BH, then 30 minutes apart around midday he did really well in two £100 Timed Tournaments, collecting £41.26 & £41.34. He was back at 1630 to finish 8th of 88 in a £400 BH, then took down 7 @ 7. Good work Mr D, good work.
The runner-up was one of those aliases which used to give Richard Orford such delight on the TV Channel. He was amused by whoopee cushions too.

A really pleasing result to see 68Trebor take this. He was 6th in the Main on Monday so he's clearly running into some form. Long may it last, he's a top bloke.
The prolific Arrogant & luckme002 were 2nd & 4th.
Yet again, karlluke made the Final. This one really should be named in her honour.

The Main went to kc8, & this was a serious result for him. His Sky Poker MTT journey began in 2014, & despite a big bink that year his first 18 months was spent in negative territory. However, since then he has been a steady winner, & he's now into 5 figures.
In 2nd, & going about his work quietly & efficiently as ever, was Collabo.

Don't think romeo6121 has ever had a better result than this.
2nd was KemnalKid, who was the first to realise last week that Player Locations have been removed. DPA, Compliance, Regulations, what a nightmare it is these days. Players mock & laugh, which is fair enough, but when a site falls foul of these constraints everyone gets on their case & Trust Pilot explodes.

This completed a hat-trick of Mega wins for Paulstern, two were last Oct/Nov, just 5 weeks apart, so he had to wait awhile for the third.
2nd was skyflyer, who went on to win Turbo later in the evening.

By a narrow margin this was the biggest prize pool of the evening, & it was no surprise to se it go to Mean Machine.

POTD
In the round-up of Monday's results I ran out of time & was unable to mention that this man actually won MidEx. He spent the whole day sobbing at my omission, so by way of compo, let's give him today's POTD. Is that fair? No, not at all, but it's hard to see how else he'd ever win it. And he is the MML endboss, which almost gives him legend status.
@NOSTRI
To mark St Patrick's Day here's a thoroughly dreadful piece by Dropkick Murphys. (Note, no apostrophe in "Murphys").

My thoughts exactly, I was quite enjoying it until then.
I remember that song was in the film The Departed - great movie.
