Posed the question by ITV's Robert Peston (left) last night, the British Home Secretary (right) said she would tell the unidentified colleague that the comments were 'unacceptable' and 'appalling'. When Peston revealed that the words were said by Boris Johnson (inset) when he left his job as editor of The Spectator, Ms Patel insisted she would not accept derogatory remarks regardless of who said them.
